قال النبي ﷺ: “إذا تمنى أحدكم فليكثر، فإنما يسأل ربه.”

The Prophet ﷺ said: _“When one of you wishes for something, let him ask in abundance, for he is asking his Lord.”

Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said,

"Having hatred towards a believer

prevents one from the blessing of Laylatul Qadr.

And the two individuals who hate one another

will not be forgiven during this great night.”

Ibn Rajab رحمه اللّه said "O one who has wasted his lifetime! These last ten nights are your final chance, so make up for what has passed with what remains." [Lata'if al-Ma'arif, p. 191]

"What's Tawakkul?" It means I don't see the solution, I don't see what's going to happen tomorrow, but I do know one thing for sure and that is: إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ "Indeed, Allah is with me; He will guide me" (26:62)

• It's the intentions that matter the most.

• True beauty shines through sincere intentions.

• A pure intention can make the smallest deed powerful.

• Right intentions turn small deeds into great rewards.

هَـٰٓأَنتُمْ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ ۖ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلْغَنِىُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ ۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓا۟ أَمْثَـٰلَكُم

"Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allāh - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allāh is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away [i.e., refuse], He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you."

(47:38)

وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ

"And I have hastened to You, my Lord, so You will be pleased."

(20:84)

When you say ‘Astaghfirullah’ you are asking Allah for two things:

• To cover/hide the sin

• To overlook (pardon) the sin and to not punish you for it

«a source of regret and loss»

Mu‘ādh bin Jabal رحمه الله said:

Wābil al-Ṣayyib (59)

من المروءة التغافل عن عثرات الناس، وإشعارهم أنك لا تعلم لأحد منهم عثرة.

Part of nobility is overlooking people’s faults and making them feel as if you are unaware of any of their missteps.

Narrated Jarir bin `Abdullah: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,

 Sahih al-Bukhari 7376

من لاذَ باللهِ سرَّه.

Whoever seeks refuge in Allah finds peace.

Surely ˹for˺ Muslim men and women, believing men and women, devout men and women, truthful men and women, patient men and women, humble men and women, charitable men and women, fasting men and women, men and women who guard their chastity, and men and women who remember Allah often—for ˹all of˺ them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward. (Qur’an, 33:35)

لا تمنعكم الشهوات المحرَّمة عن المطالب المكرَّمة، فالمعصية جِبلَّةٌ آدميَّةٌ، فإذا كبوتَ فأصبتَ حرامًا؛ فتطَّهر منه واغتسل بماء التَّوبة، واعزم على طلب ما تريد من المكارم، فالعثرات لا تمنع الوصول وإن أخَّرته، وربَّ عثرةٍ أحدثت قفزةً.

“Do not let forbidden desires keep you from honorable pursuits. Sin is a human inclination—if you stumble and fall into the forbidden, then purify yourself and wash it away with the water of repentance. Resolve to seek the virtues you aspire to, for missteps do not prevent arrival, even if they delay it. Indeed, a fall may sometimes lead to a greater leap.”

Stop ignoring your prayers. Your connection with Allah is everything. Don’t wait for the ‘right’ time - pray now. Every moment you delay is a moment lost.
