I wasn’t talking about a subset of catholics celebrating in spring- Christmas, as celebrated by a majority of the world, is on December 24th and 25th depending on region. This date was decided upon by the Roman rewrites of the bible because it would align with the then winter solstice, which was already celebrated by the pagans. This made it an easier switch for all those who were converting, not changing their year plans around for a new religion.
What I mean by the birth of Jesus likely being in spring is that by historical records and stories, we can place the birth of Jesus Christ at some point during spring- I am not confusing this with his death, which likely happened during the eclipse of April 3. 33ACE.

Me as an individual, I am single-handedly going to appropriate «Christian culture» and suppress heritage.. yeah no- you need an institution like the church to do that. The bad part of taking figures and folklore from other cultures isn’t about simply veering from the belief- it’s about suppressing said original culture from being thought of, and changing public perception of said thing to be something else, just ask the Sami people.

had grand ambitions of doing textless versions of every manga cover until i started glitching IRL so this is probably all I'm gonna do (missing 3, 6, 9, 10. 11 unfinished)
vol 11 still has the credits because I can't draw plaid worth a damn and vol 7 is rough as hell but that's all I've got in me
begging for them to just release official textless covers 😭 they've started doing them from vol 13 onwards but the old covers have so much good shit and I just want to see themmm
What I did was stitch the English covers w/ the Japanese covers as they (mostly) have text in different areas. For some all that was needed was some clone tool magic others were pure redraw hell. Once I hit vol 4 I realized that the mangaka probably draws the backgrounds first and then slaps the characters on top because they move around between versions (sometimes in very annoying ways).
