I once thought I was asexual and it turned out I actually wasn’t ready to have sex before I had transitioned to a point where I was more comfortable with my body. 

And in that time, the asexual community welcomed me, supported me, helped me feel good about who I was, protected me from the harm I would have done to myself if I had pushed myself to have sex. That made a huge difference.

If I see an opportunity to support asexual organizations, I do so not just because it’s good but also because they were there for me in a difficult part of my life without judgement. I owe them for that.

If you at one point identified as transgender or questioned your gender identity, maybe you too sought a home in the wrong place because you were struggling with something else. And it is very likely that the people in that home, the transgender community, believed you and welcomed you and listened to you.

And then when it turns out that you were searching for the wrong thing, you don’t just leave that community behind but you turn around and shit on them? Shame on you. What a shitty thing to do.

So many people get confronted with their implicit biases and instead of stopping and saying 'oh yeah, they're right, I should do something to change that', they say 'but I'm not racist, because racist people are evil and I'm not evil.' Unfortunately racist people are your uncle, and your mother, and your sister, and your friend, and you. It's not an immutable characteristic, it's a thing that you do, and you're so caught up in your perception of yourself as a 'good person' that you choose to be blind to the racism you perpetuate, thus staying racist. It's a vicious ironic cycle.

this direct has really confirmed all my worst fears that nintendos just becoming their competition

sony and microsoft hardly make their own games, expect partners to carry the console, and rely on graphical power with inflated price tags

nintendo always stood out with their own games and uniqueness and individuality... but today they said no to that. they let partners carry the direct and announced astonishingly few games for a console reveal, focusing on graphical power and framerates and then dropped the whopping $80 per game pricetag on us

i am disappointed beyond belief. nintendo used to be different. not just another company but geniunely artists with a love and passion for creativity. but now all i see is just "sony but portable". i am honestly so upset and everyone else should be too
