I try not to ask for help on here, but me and my family will be moving across the country this July to flee growing transphobia in our home state and recent medical/dental bills have made a huge blow to our savings. Hostility where we live threatens our ability to work (or even just live freely and exist) as transgender teachers. With the record-breaking amount of anti-trans bills that have been proposed in our state, it's only a matter of time before we are labeled as predators and it becomes dangerous to live and illegal for us to continue the careers we have poured our lives into.
