hi so me and my girlfriend are most likely about to be homeless. i've been fighting with my landlord for over 4 weeks about not having AC in 116 degree weather and because i'm seeking pro bono legal counsel, they're retaliating with a 5 day eviction notice. we may be able to get accommodations and i have an intake with a lawyer on monday, but i'm not sure where we're gonna go from here without financial help. i'm a disabled nonbinary transmasc lesbian and a student going thru this with the love of my life who is also trans. we could really use your help. i haven't gained traction in the past but in case this does,

the lawyer couldn't help us but we've been able to buy time until this weekend. i have plans to move back east with my girlfriend by mid august but we have to figure out how to stay afloat until then. still no donations. anything helps.

i think the takes that have gotten me the most hate on here are:

  1. children are people and it’s not appropriate to randomly insult them
  2. smoking etiquette is generally context dependent and “this is rude” isn’t the same as “this is an unforgivable sin”
  3. it’s not women and minorities’ fault that white men become nazis
