“ships should at least make sense.” no. ships can make sense, sure. but they’re just fictional characters we play with for fun. they’re fantasies, not a fucking thesis paper. so no, they don’t always have to make sense. they just have to make you happy (or horny).

let people enjoy (fictional) things however they want to enjoy.

This was already fucking impressive but then he started making electric guitar noises and I recreated this image in my bedroom

I'm not allowed to play paladin with one of my playgroups anymore, because the last time I did, one of the rogues in my party decided kill a townsperson in front of me "just to see what would happen," and the moment she did I used a smite evil and killed her instantly. Everyone else (except the DM) thought it was a dick move that I basically forced her to roll an entirely new character after one night.

That's the only proper way to play a paladin.

You pick a fight, you get the smite.

"it's what my character would do" says the rogue.

"samesys!" Says the paladin, cheerfully rolling a nat 20 smite to destroy the rogue.

"Huh, i wonder what would happen if i killed this totally innocent person in front of the paladin."

"You will die. What will happen is you will die."

Bad Breaks and Evened Scores

Chapter 4: Broken

🔞 THIS CHAPTER IS NC-17 🔞

Haruko makes questionable decisions in the final chapter to this minific! He pushes a boundary when emotions are running high, and things go too far as a result.

Haruko burns himself out, Magpie deals with the fallout, and Volo makes a promise unique to him

Come read the final chapter in my latest (mainline) fic of the Djinni Volo au made by me and my friend @praazlwurm

a cosplay photo so old it was taken on actual film (which explains the streaks from my scanner) and the con we were at doesn’t even exist anymore. it was around 13 years ago actually now that I think about it.

i have been looking for this picture for YEARS and it’s finally back on my dash….wow

Twenty years ago, February 15th, 2004, I got married for the first time.

It was twenty years earlier than I ever expected to.

To celebrate/comemorate the date, I'm sitting down to write out everything I remember as I remember it. No checking all the pictures I took or all the times I've written about this before. I'm not going to turn to my husband (of twenty years, how the f'ing hell) to remember a detail for me.

This is not a 100% accurate recounting of that first wild weekend in San Francisco. But it -is- a 100% accurate recounting of how I remember it today, twenty years after the fact.

Join me below, if you would.
