The bad news: I unfortunately have to put TWRP origins on hold. In between school, my jobs, and my other projects I just haven't had time to work on it. I'm not sure when it'll be back but my goal is to release chapters weekly when it does. You're still free to ask me about it and I'll still be making smaller posts about it, but chapter updates will be on hold.
The good news: I'M GOING TO THE NSP CONCERT TONIGHT!!! It's my first live concert ever and I'm super excited! I'll be sure to post about it soon! Not only that but I'll be meeting @justice-acolyte there! They've been an amazing help writing twrp origins and I'm excited to meet them in person!

writing badly and cringily is actually an essential part of the writing process, both in terms of individual projects and in gaining voice and confidence as a writer in the long term. there is no way around the cringe. there's no way around the work.

I'm really not apologetic with this hard stance, either. I'm very firm on this, too. My art has already been used, twice now by people who did not ask my permission, so they could "enhance it" with Gen AI. I really see nothing good coming from generative AI except poor excuses for laziness and glorified search engines that don't work.
This is an important time to make the distinction between generative and analytical AI. Analytical AI is what AI is supposed to be for. It’s all the boring stuff like analyzing data for patterns. For example, you probably heard about that AI that was designed to tell apart bear claws from croissants for a bakery that is now being used to detect cancer cells with greater accuracy than human doctors. That’s an analytical AI, while everything mentioned in the post above is generative AI. (Which sucks!)

i need everyone reading this post to remember that writing is not "content." writing is art. you don't look at a painting of an ocean and say "eh, it's overdone." you look at it and think its beautiful, because it is, and y'all better start treating writing the same fucking way before you lose your favorite authors for good.
Art is not something to be capitalized on. Stop treating it like it is.
