Just some quick sketches of a Cartoon-Saloon-ified Merlin. I've always wanted to try their style, and a funny show about ancient English folklore was too good an excuse to pass up.

I was possessed with the sudden and irrepressible desire to bind a book last week, and I've been wanting to bind And like the cycle of the year, we begin again by @katherynefromphilly (sorry for tagging you but I wanted to share this). Summary:
“You-” Ygraine said, stepping up to point a finger in Uther’s face. “You are a liar and a murderer. The fact you think someone as sweet and caring as Vivienne is destined to marry you is a tragedy in itself, but if you expect me to hand over my brother’s rightful claim to Camelot’s throne-” “My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles. Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes. “You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.” From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.” Or In a desperate attempt to save Arthur at Camlann, Merlin tries to reverse time. It works perhaps a tad too well.
Another beauty from the same author as my last fic rec, but this one is somehow even better. Basically Merlin and Arthur time travel to before Uther and Ygraine got together and it’s very interesting. 1000000000000/10

you know how in 5.13 arthurs like “i tried to take your head off with a mace” and merlins like “and i stopped you, using magic” and arthurs immediate reply to that is “you cheated” … and i guess i was just thinking about the breathy little laugh merlin lets out in response to that. bc like i just noticed how maybe it was a little bit of relief and awe. because like. he just talked to arthur. about magic. about using magic From The Beginning. against him in a fight. and arthurs immediate response, his most natural reaction to that, was to comment on merlins poor sportsmanship. out of anything he couldve said something about. the first thing that came to mind was merlin not playing fair. which. idk. IDK!!!

Op feel free to explain these inconsistencies, but I'm sorry... That belt buckle doesn't make sense, the branch staff is coming out of his elbow. The red shirt is over the mail under the cloak and then appears to be under the mail when it's over it. The sigil is a random scribble. The crown (?) Merges with the hair strands.

I'm not someone who's against AI in any possible shape or form. I think it can be a great tool to AID people with a lot of important things. It could also possibly help artists. But it should not take their place in fandom, and if you really want to use it you should DISCLAIM it at the very least.
I'm also not someone who throws random accusations either. So again, OP is perfectly free to show proof for at least some of their creative process

I was lenient and respectful I was towards OP, but I do not appreciate liars.
I AM someone who is dislikes AI being used in creative spaces on the grounds that it is built on theft (I could be swayed, but it still feels wrong to me) but even if I wasn’t, I absolutely do not support lying about your methods. Bad form, OP.
