✧ Maji ✧ 20's ✧ she/her ✧ secondhand writer ✧

Hi! My name is Maji (ma-jee). I thought curating a blog would be fun, so here I am! A little bit about me: I'm at home all day every day due to my lopsided mental health, so I have plenty of time for writing. That said, I don't write half as much as I want to, so surrounding myself with content about writing will hopefully give me a much needed boost in inspiration and motivation.

Writer's block is a thing of many colors and I'm constantly trying to color-match solutions to beat it.

If you're reading this and you're into writing as well, hello fellow tormented soul! Have you written anything today? Maybe you're staring at the dreaded blank page or scrolling through writeblr like I am instead of writing? 🧐 Please give me a follow or interact so I can check your blog out! I'm shy, but I would love to be mutuals and just like and reblog your content.

Feel free to tag me in tag games even though I might never get to them. Don't take it personally, sometimes I just don't have anything to bring to the table. ʚĭɞ

RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

I have OSDD1b and I'm part of a system, a small piece of a whole. Basically, it's the old "many rats in a trenchcoat" thingy.

Because I can write I have decided this means I have to try my hand at writing novels, game writing, interactice stories and visual novels. Don't ask me where my projects are. I murder them routinely.

I used to be able to read 300 page books in a day. I'd just get so lost in the sauce. Now I'm lucky if I read a whole chapter. How I have fallen. πŸ˜” (Trying to fix this by reading an hour at a time) Edit: it's working! Edit: um...

I walk like I'm being chased. I don't like being anywhere that isn't home, haha.

describing emotions in writing is either β€œhe felt sad” or a two-paragraph dissertation on how his soul crumpled like wet newspaper under the weight of his own existence. no in-between.

I'm definitely the second type of writer and then I get back critique such as "cut down on internal dialogue" and honestly, fair

Im both but I have zero control about which version happens when

He was as tall as he was tall, and his eyes were the color they were. To describe his hair one would say that he had some. His face had all the features you'd expect, and none of the ones you wouldn't. "There he is," people would often say of him, but only when he was there. And they were right.
