If you have Spotify reblog this and tag what your number one song on your โon repeatโ playlist is.
Not โOnly my reading of canon is correctโ or โInterpretations are subjective and all validโ but a secret third thing, โMore than one interpretation can be valid but thereโs a reason your English teacher had you cite quotes and examples in your papers, you have to have a strong argument that your interpretation is actually supported by the text or it is just wrong and Iโm fine with telling you itโs wrong, actually.โ
If the text says the curtains are blue you can argue about what that means; but if youโre going to claim theyโre actually yellow youโd better have a really good argument.
I based this on a comic I saw on tumblr and obviously on the characters and setting of the "Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl" pilot animatic by Kiana Khansmith.
(For some reason YouTube links donโt get traction on tumblr, so letโs see if this works!)

"Before 1914, the earth had belonged to all. People went where they wished and stayed as long as they pleased. There were no permits, no visas, and it always gives me pleasure to astonish the young by telling them that before 1914, I travelled from Europe to India and America without a passport and without ever having seen one."
-Stefan Zweig
Borders as we know them are a recent concoction.
The passport system as we know it dates to the First World War. ICE was founded in 2003 as part of the so-called "War on Terror," a disaster for freedom in every way.
These institutions are neither timeless nor beneficial nor inevitable.

about house md
I started writing House MD fanfic in high school and because my autistic ass got into it so hard I was reading anatomy textbooks on break during my summer job when I was 16 I wrote a bunch of meticulously researched if dramatic and very "written by a 16 year old" fanfic. Like went and joined forums for each condition to describe them as accurately as possible. And like. Accidentally helped like. A bunch of people figure out what was wrong with them by essentially doing fully new medical description research bc I was obsessed with the toxic old man yaoi

There is some Seven Seas shit going on in my For You.
(through gritted teeth) sometimes what's good for your mental health isn't another do nothing day or a little treat sometimes what's good for you is putting in some of the work. Not all of it at once but sometimes you have to finish that essay or at least take the next step or you have to clean your room or at least dust the shelves or you gotta do the laundry or at least put it all in the hamper and it's not fun and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks and it sucks but you have to because i read a post on the internet that told me that's what being nice to yourself is sometimes
Are you guys ok youโre all reblogging this post a lot
crazy thang is whenever someone makes a post talkng about how xyz thing annoys them someone will always go 'oh so we're not even allowed to do [thing] anymore??' like no you literally can. that person just will not like you. if that is enough to stop you then its not that youre not allowed its that you are not capable of existing outside of the approval of others
why are you asking for permission. begging? are you a dog or a man
there it is
