i am still hesitant about the greta gerwig narnia adaptation bc i'm so protective of one of the few christian books that's actually written well. BUT. i heard about aslan and i hope that they actually DO cast meryl streep and that every time gerwig gets a complaint about it she transfems another character. edmund is up next

Friend: were you not a raging lesbian, I would be into you

Me: If gay marriage was illegal I would very heavily consider a lavender marriage with you

wow! your understanding of this character is so. . . Unique! just wondering by the way but when was the last time you directly interacted with the source media

respectfully to everyone whos been like Well have you considered idc about the source media and im doing whatever i want with my little blorbos <3 like... you know thats allowed right. like thats fine. i am not condemning you. But you have to accept the fact that nobody has that context besides you unless you put that disclaimer on everything you make. and youre not gonna do that. so if i go into a character tag and see someone call the character, who is canonically a cat, a dog with no extra explanation with their whole chest, i am not going to go Ohhh haha theyre just playing dolls! i am going to go Just wondering by the way but when was the last time you directly interacted with the source media

People who hate Frodo Baggins are my enemy. "He didn't do anything and was useless"--yeah, okay, so what you're not understanding is that he was the sacrificial lamb. He endured physical, mental, and emotional torment that got worse and worse as his will broke. Everyone knew this. EVERYONE KNEW THIS. That's why everyone was devastated about it. Because Frodo was the most innocent among them, that was the entire point. He represented ordinary peaceful people being destroyed by the horrors of war. And as a hobbit he also represented some of the last vestiges of magic in what was basically a post magic apocalypse.

Frodo was basically an innocent puppy thrown into the Torment Nexus so that EVERYONE ELSE could maybe have a hope of surviving. And he did that willingly. HE DID IT OF HIS OWN FREE WILL, KNOWING IT WOULD RUIN HIM.

Frodo haters won't see the light of heaven

I love d&d bards so much guys. I picked a class for my first character and then never looked back. Bards are just so lovely

My friends think I’m incapable of making a non autistic character but they’re WRONG this NPC I made for them to kill is allistic. And also a vampire who’s about to develop severe texture issues, have a hard time socializing, have specific dietary needs, avoid sunlight bc it hurts and- oh goddamnit

Fandom terms have to sound silly, like blorbo or squick, because fandom needs humbling. Not a lot. But just every so often you need a good grounding reminder that all of this is literally made up nonsense for fun.

If you take a fictional thing so seriously that silly words genuinely annoy you, you've gone too far and you need to dial it back.

the secret to life is always having something to look forward to

to anyone saying there's nothing to look forward to, I'm not saying it has to be anything spectacular or huge. it could just be a song or a book that will release in a few days, a tv show, anything!! no matter how small it seems it can keep us going

Quick! Put in the tags what you’re looking forward to right now!

I’ll go first: Im gonna go out to try a new restaurant this week with a friend!!
