aroace 11 is one of those headcanons where i absolutely believe it when a trusted mutual presents it to me, and if i see it in the wild, alarms start going off in my head labeled “WARNING: THERE MIGHT BE ABLEISM AHEAD”

some people talk about the eleventh doctor as if he must be aroace because of the nuwho doctors, he’s the one who presents as most “obviously” autistic and acts childish and therefore must hate sex/not know what it is. i don’t trust those people.

he calls his tardis sexy. like. a lot. at a certain point, you are experiencing a wild dissonance from canon due to your inability to see a guy with autistic traits as a sexual being.

none of you understand 11 like i do he is not your aroace prince he is the bisexual boyfriend who wants to get mommydommed on tinder he IS making horrible indie tracks on Spotify he is a woman she does have a very fucked up friendship with her middle school best friend and she HAS circumnavigated it by getting into a situationship with her mom and also her boyfriend. and if you don't understand that idk what to tell you.

I said aro River and not aroace because her character is funnier to me if she is sincerely ravenously horny (and has that be her downfall sometimes) but I could easily be convinced. Easily

the ninth doctor is absolutely butch but other than that trying to frame the doctor as butch/femme is fighting a losing battle. he's got something far worse going on with his gender presentation

“[Russell T Davies] made Rose an equal, not a sidekick. It is she who, on several occasions, saves the Doctor, rather than the other way round. As any parent with a daughter, I now look at Esme and think ‘you could be the Doctor’. In 2005, as recently as that, such a thought would have been a pipe dream.

[Rose is] a woman with an independent mind, willing to confront received wisdom. Rose arrives on screen fully formed, one of the strongest female characters of any show, any year, painting a solid line directly to Jodie Whittaker.

If you think about it, the relaunch in 2005 was actually the first chance to create the first female Doctor. Why not do it then? Perhaps we should be looking back on Billie Piper not as Rose, but as the Doctor.”

- Christopher Eccleston in his memoir I Love The Bones Of You

the reason i said the master would be the one getting pregnant is because i think they’d be a better parent than the doctor. more involved. sorry.

the doctor NEEDS to be allowed to be an absentee father they NEED to be able to abandon their family it’s literally abusive to not allow doctor who to run away from their responsibilities
