in my experience, many (if not most) people referred to by strangers as "binary trans women" are in fact non-binary trans women. it's kind of weird if you automatically assume every trans girl is has a "binary" conception of her own gender just bc she doesn't explicitly out-loud self identify as non-binary. because as it turns out, a lot of people also use our non-binary identities to exclude us from womanhood!
