Nothing happens, until it does.”

Until Meredith’s hand rests on her arm for just too long, eyes wide and sparkling with mischief right in front of her OB resident and finally Addison snaps, mouth set in a thin line. “Dr. Grey. With me.”” -prentits

I’M OBSESSED!! love how the art perfectly reflects the emotions highlighted in the fic! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I can never leave Tumblr because after years of sporadic therapy utterly failed to even approach the core of my problem some random tumblr user was like “I processed my trauma by writing a 10,000 word work of filthy fanfic erotica” and I was like “fuck it I’ve tried everything else” and now I’m 17 chapters and 20,000 words deep into an unpublishable work of obscenity and after careful literary analysis with one of the Beloved Mutuals I have come to some Terrible Revelations about my childhood and may now continue the process of Healing. Where else am I supposed to get this kind of experience. Who does this. Why are we like this. I’m never leaving. I love y’all.

desire as round as peaches bloom in me all night

Addison returns to Seattle to help Meredith get divorced. They’re not friends, not exactly, but Addison remembers what happens when you fall out of love with Derek Shepherd. This is why she gets on a plane in the middle of the night, takes a leave of absence from work, and books a hotel room in Seattle. (And if she’s fallen a little in love with Meredith, somewhere along the telephone wires between Seattle and L.A., well. It hardly matters now.)

chapter 3 is finally finished!

It’s a strange thing, to be able to see Meredith. To be able to look her in the eye when they talk. To touch her; to be touched by her. It’s unfamiliar in the sense that they have not done this before, but familiar in the sense that she knows Meredith’s voice as well as she knows her own, and knows Meredith as well as she knows herself.
