I'm suprised no one posted this here yet. An interesting interview about what could have been if it was an adult show ( quote from the article):
“If it was an older show, it absolutely would have been Danny hanging on to his mortal coil for both selfish reasons and the people he loved,” Marmel continues. “But [when you’re making a] kids’ show you don't want to go, ‘Hey kids! Good morning! Here’s mortality!’ Butch has his own backstory — it’s in the song! — and that’s canon. But in my head, it allowed me to write Danny with a little more depth than just, 'I'm inexperienced and sometimes dumb!’ No, you’re grabbing life by the horns because you've already experienced what it's like to not be a part of it.”

Natty or not? Danny Phantom edition
I feel like being half dead would introduce a lot more cortisol and adrenaline and less growth hormone so if anything I feel like he'd be even more catabolic?? Cause I mean with his energy output you'd think he'd have a lot more catabolic reactions going on cause that's GOT to require a lot of potential energy breakdown but then again considering his regenerative abilities maybe anabolism plays a much stronger role and OH you just meant does it count as unnatural bodybuilding or performance enhancing.
Okay I asked my favorite gym bro and he said Danny's natty cause dying (and becoming a ghost) is a natural process and it just so happens that Danny can do that better and faster than everyone else.

Phic Phight of Past Years
Evey year we hold Phic Phight, and each year hundreds of prompts are submitted. It is rare for every prompt to be filled. And there are many who wish to write a fic for a prompt, but they missed the sign ups. It is sad to see these ideas fall to the wayside, therefore we are now posting links to previous years prompt list and we welcome anyone to fill any prompts from there. This years prompts won't be posted until May 2nd.

hi! thinking of participating for the first time but i'm wondering what happens with ships - as in, if your prompt is filled in a shippy way for a gen prompt or with a ship you don't like/asked for, is this rude or something to be expected? are shippy prompts allowed or are gen ones more encouraged? are we expected to comment on the phics for our specific prompt fills even if they have content we don't enjoy?

If you want a certain ship, you must add it to the prompt. Example "Danny and Dash go on their first date" or "Paulina and Tucker try to watch a horror movie but are sucked in. Worst date ever! ". If your prompt is a more general one and you don't want a ship, add text like "As friends" or "in a non romantic way".
Both shippy/romantic and general/non-romantic prompts are allowed (as long as they are SFW and not Adult x Minor). Neither are more encouraged.
And it is up to the person writing/filling the prompt to interpret it as they wish, if you do not like the fill then don't comment on it. While comments do receive small amounts of points they are not required. It is considered rude to say "Thanks but I don't like this ship" . just say nothing.
One prompt can be filled by multiple people. BUT remember that just because you submit a prompt does not mean it gets filled. And this isn't a service to get writers to write for free.
