I was clicking on the Smosh Cast channel to listen to the new Smosh Mouth and noticed that they took of the Lunchtime section of the banner picture. It is definitely over. Do you think we will get a post about it? (I don't lol but at least some type of thing should be said)
I said it before, sadly Smosh is so bad when it comes to communicating with fans. Especially with Ian and Anthony fans. So no I don't think we'd get a last final episode or a post about it. It's over sadly. We all knew atp like everyone noticed but it would still be good if we at least got a final goodbye episode 🙃
Because it is disrespectful. Every podcast comes to an end it could be something that the views are not enough, it could be something else. We are sad but we wouldn't blame them. But at least they could shoot a final episode. They don't edit it much or they don't use a studio they have to pay, it wouldn't cost much to do it. Or AT LEAST made a post about it, tell it to the fans you're ending it. They have no respect towards the ianthony fans this is so sad to me.
I'm pissed. Thr fact they won't even tell us. The fact they lied on that last episode in December and said, "See you after our break."
How many times can Ian and Anthony disrespect the fans who love them? Like truly? This is so fucking shitty.

Ian had a polyamory bag on Reddit stories, one of their most popular shows. Not every smosh fan is going to see that tweet or even know Ian is enm.
I absolutely see the perspective of Ian's privacy, but at the same time we don't even know if the person who said they saw him on Raya is telling the truth.
Fandom wise, it's simply not that deep to me that I answered an ask about Ian being enm and didn't flip out about it in a way beyond talking about the subject.
If you think I'm a toxic fan, okay, that's fine. I don't feel I am, but I also feel people (me included) are not perfect and can be toxic, jealous, etc.
Fandom wise, from where I began in my first fandom to now, I have had a ton of growth. I was a horribly toxic fan when I was younger. So, to me, I have had healing and life is a continuous chance to heal!
I don't like how you're trying to set up an us versus you type fan structure. You can complain about me, not like me, etc. But you can't speak for everyone.

lately my kids have been playing Baby Knife, which consists of somebody acting as a baby with knife hands chasing people while going "baby knife baby knife" over and over. is this a thing or are they just insane
we have a new teacher this year who has never had kindergarten before & she rounded em all up & told em No Baby Knife and No Zombies and idk how to tell her that 1. all kindergarten recess games boil down to Give Birth And Kill Each Other and 2. the absurd vaguely inappropriate games they make up are usually better than when they try to play an Actual game like soccer
Baby Knife is straightforward. theres a baby knife. baby knife chases you. thats about it. when they try to play Real Sports every single child is playing by a different set of rules unbeknownst to the others and none of them are playing by the Actual rules. everybody is mad at everybody else and running up to tell on their colleagues for cheating every 3 minutes. this doesnt happen when they play Baby Knife
if no one's said it, it's normal. It's just Tag with flavor. Tag is boring so you gotta add imagination.
Our baby knife as kids was Raptor Tag. Raptors hunt in packs so the person who was "it" had to run around pretending to be a velociraptor and to tag people they had to actually tackle them and "eat" them for 5 full seconds (others could come to the rescue and save them in that time, but risked getting eaten too or instead if the raptor switched targets). Eaten players then became raptors, until the whole pack was teamwork-hunting the last wily or lucky kid. There were no winning survivors- the game was won as a group once everyone was a raptor.

The Goal
To do something related to a gen work. There are some prompts below, you can write or draw or make something of any kind for one or however many you want of them. You can make something not related to one of them! You could make a rec list of some links to your favourite fics or artworks, you could share some old work of yours around again, you could just leave a comment on something you loved, you can set yourself a challenge, or you can keep it as easy as you like, it's down to you.
The Rules
Gen is something not focused on a romantic relationship so sticking to that is pretty much the only actual solid rule here. Whether you want to focus on platonic relationships, familial, character studies with no relationships brought up, or something else entirely, as long as the main focus of whatever you're doing isn't on a romantic relationship, it counts (though mentions of background romantic relationships that aren't a main focus are fine for this event).
And, to make it clear, the Gen is only referring to the lack of romantic relationship, you work doesn't have to fall into what would count as a "General Audiences" rating (or relevant equivalents). Appropriate tagging for anything else, image descriptions, and read mores for long posts are all appreciated, though there is some slack allowed for older posts being reblogged.
And if you do want things reblogged here, feel free to tag this blog, and there is an AO3 collection with the same name if you want to use that

Did you watch, or are you planning to watch the video of Anthony spending a day with himself? If yes, what did you think and if no why?
I just watched it! I'm happily surprised he dropped a vid at all at this point do I'm riding that high.
Of course, I'm bummed Ian didn't cameo at all because this was filmed the same day as their cup game, so I feel it would have been fun for him to just pop in.
But I love Anthony and miss him so much and I like he didn't take himself seriously. The joke about ink poisoning, calling himself a himbo, eating paint, the little reference to his vine.
"What if I sold Smosh..." (Hated this though!!!)
The "everyone asks where's Anthony, but no one asks why Anthony." Was cute.
At this point I'm just damn happy to see him.
