How many of you have plans for your future? Do you have a career that you're working towards, and goals you hope to achieve? Do you have younger members of your family that you hope to see grow up safe? Do you want to start a family of your own?
Even if you're not sure about your future, the knowledge that you will have one is a privilege many of us take for granted. Amidst a violent occupation, Palestinians have tried to build futures and lives for themselves, and have been very successful. But recently, many people have found it hard to hold onto their dreams as their home is destroyed all around them, and their pleading with the world to help them falls on apathetic ears.
The fundraisers that you see shared on here are these families lifelines, but recently I've noticed that people have completely stopped caring about them. This is not normal and it's not okay!! If you are exhausted, I need you to consider how exhausting it is to live through it! Every fundraiser you see is a real person. These are not just games of getting numbers to go higher. These are people's hopes of survival, hopes for the future, hopes for their children.The way you react to these campaigns has a real effect on these people, has a real effect on their ability to believe in a better future and hold onto hope.
Your alliance with the Palestinian people has to be material and concrete. My friend Dina has been struggling severely to see a future for her children as her campaign goes ignored and her pleas for help are met with silence. Her children won't survive on your well wishes, they need actual help. Please don't stand idly by while this genocide continues. You may have seen the horrific crimes occurring every day in Gaza but you haven't seen how my friend fears for her and her children's lives every time a new horror occurs. Only you, through your support and care, can restore her hope for the future.
Please, whoever has mercy on my children, donate to save their lives. Every time they are ignored and neglected, it kills them. I don’t want to lose them. 🙏💔😭

Hello again, friends. I come with some very sad news. Thanks to the people who helped me with commissions, I was able to take my dog to the vet today. They bandaged her up, and later, I took her for some X-rays. However, the doctor who treated her spoke to me about the type of fracture she has and said that she needs to be operated on urgently, because if not, she will be left with a limp leg and lifelong pain. She urgently needs that surgery. I don’t know who else to turn to for help, but if you could donate at this moment or spread the message, it would be a great help. I have spent all my savings between my dog Oyku’s pyometra and now Nikki’s fracture, and I really need a miracle to get out of this situation. I will attach the X-rays and other photos below to verify what I’m saying. I’ve asked for quotes at different places, and the only vet who replied said the cost would be 400 USD, which I don’t have right now. Any kind of help would be a blessing for us at this moment. I get not liking someone. not everyone is gonna like me and I get that . you cant change how people feel about you. I mean, I don't like every person I've ever interacted with. Who am I to hold others to that same standard. Some people just don't vibe, and that's okay. no matter how hard you will try there is always going to be someone who doesn’t like you for whatever reason and that’s okay.
but I'm never hostile to people I don't like/click with though. Civility is a practive they shoud be more common in those situations. some will find me annoying and that is also fine. I know sometimes I can be a bit much. yes I love playing and rping the same characters. But we all have our favs and if they are open, I'm not the only one who will take the chance and play them out. especially playing out our own ocs.
but when you constantly send me hate none stop to EVERY SINGLE RP I OPEN OR AM IN AND TO MY CHARS ACCOUNT. just please block me at this point. what's the point in all this? deadass just block me because if I knew who you were I would block you and stay away from you. I don't want to bother you and i already deal with one verbally abusive family member in my life, I don't need an anonymous stalker telling me to die , how much of a bitch I am , telling me that they're gonna expose me or dox me, and how I'm a fucking cunt ( which honestly holds no real power considering it's associated with misogyny, unlike the people who object so passionately to its usage. it is the most wonderfully made, historically inaccurate, giddily fun, perfectly paced, goofy horror movie romance novel bullshit bonanza that has ever blessed the silver screen.
i mean it is just so beautifully full of every genre without being overwhelming.we’ve got: comedy, action, suspense, horror, romance, adventure, ancient aesthetics, and it’s a period piece. all perfectly balanced and blended into one movie.
and the characters are so LIT
we got our main babe, evelyn “motherfucking” carnahan, a super-klutz librarian, total history nerd, and certified badass/damsel in distress. she raises the dead on accident, because she cannot resist books, and has the guts to put that motherfucker back where he came from and literally saves the world.evie’s greatest hits:
then we’ve got rick “brendan fraser” o’connell, your not-so-typical battle hardened gun slinger with a heart of gold. he seems filthy, rude, and a complete scoundrel at first, but then he turns into a literal puppy, with massive heart eyes, that worships the ground evie walks on.rick’s greatest hits:
next is our Comedic Relief Character™, jonathan carnahan, who also rises above his trope. he’s there for the laugh sure, but is never useless. he actively helps to move the plot along and isn’t just there. he also is the farthest thing from brainless and annoying.jonathan’s greatest hits:
then there is ardeth BAE. he is the audience rolling his eyes because *sighs* white people. he’s tired of these motherfucking mummies in this motherfucking desert. literally prettier than everyone.(he has a much bigger role in the mummy returns, but is still so fab here)
and of course THE MUMMY. imhotep. actual emo. literally carved some poetry into the back of his sarcophagus when he was buried alive with flesh eating bugs, because he is that Extra™. just wants to bring his girlfriend back to life so he can make out with her without it being treason.
and all the side characters are also gr8.
now i wanna take a moment to talk about the romance. because it is so BEAUTIFUL. like usually in action movies it’s macho man undermines girl and they bone. not here. no time for that shit.
rick and evie have such a great relationship based on mutual respect and affection. they both cater to each other’s strengths and cover each other’s weaknesses. they are the literally definition of: “those two. in a fight, they’re lethal. around each other, they melt”
what else, i could literally talk about this movie all day.
the special effects have held up pretty well.the music score is GORGEOUS.the costumes are amazing.the makeup, especially for anck su namun, OH WOW.the george of the jungle era brendan fraser sign me the fuck up.rachel weisz.
so many good things.
