Please remember that MOGAI archives are not an archive of terms the archiver, on a personal level, agrees with 100%. Archiving is important to do regardless of if the term is something you think is good or worded in the right way You would not go into a library and get mad at the librarian for a book you think is bad or was written by a guy you don't like.

Archivers are the backbone of this community where entire identities can easily become lost media. Your like of an individual archived term doesn't indicate the moral character of the archiver, a person who is impartial in this. Don't disrespect them for doing their job.

i must confess, it twas me who called you two cuntilicious. i forgot its not just a mundane adjective i can break out at any time without question LMAO i meant it though ๐Ÿ‘

Anonymous asked:

you twose are SO cuntilicious and your blog is so helpful and i am SO ARCHIVED

which one of you is this LMAO

fantastic ask though <3

thank you for archivists and id translators for existing . theres a lot of labels and terms we wouldnt be able to see to this day if you didnt grab them before the account it was from deactivated and thats happened so many times. id translators help us out because translating images to text can be tiring for us, especially when a lot of us dont know how to describe things + we fumble with words, as well as the fact we never have the energy to translate anything .

we may pretty much be a coiner, but really, we kind of do it more for ourselves than anything. probably why we're so unpopular. most of us have our own gender hoards. dont have a name to a experience ??? time to coin a gender or a term ! we love coining stuff . niche stuff . stuff probably others can relate to . if you look close enough youll see trends and patterns with which of us coins what that what they think is most gender whenever they coin . fuck we worded that badly i think we also fall under the category of someone who goes and hoards terms too, we love scrolling xenogender and mogai and qai tags on here and just hunting for labels we like . its so fun

the mogai/liom/qai community is awesome

late 2020 us would of exploded upon learning about what we think of the mogai/liom/qai community today (we used to be anti-xenogender long ago once upon a time)

I love you archivists! Whether your blog is for specific terms, specific term types, or any terms, whether it be very active or barely active, whether it be intensively tagged or not tagged at all, I love you! You're doing a great service to the community! Thank you all for your effort!

Please remember those in the MOGAI community who are not coiners. There is not enough appreciation for archivists, requesters, collectors, icon-makers, lurkers, accessibility blogs, everyone else. I believe that part of why there is so much pressure on coiners to coin consistently is because there is little value placed on any other activities within the community.

I designed a Seizure Punk flag.

  • The darker purple represents Epilepsy.
  • The lighter purple and cyan represents Non-Epileptic Seizures.
  • The dark purple and blue can double as suicide awareness colors.
  • The yellow represents neurological disorders and neurodivergence.
  • The white represents invisible disorders.
  • The black represents dehumanization.

This flag is based on a combination of the voidpunk flag, the two seizure awareness ribbons, and the disability pride flag. It represents the difficulty and invisibility of the lives of people with any kind of seizure disorder, as well as a recognition and unification of the two disorders despite their differences.

It's for all the people who are sick of the lack of help, sick of the lack of information and the judgements and biases found even among medical professionals. It's for the adults who still struggle, despite all of the information being aimed at children and their parents. For people who may be struggling with even basic things others take for granted, because of their seizures. It's for people who are or were angry and done with it all. It is for solidarity among people who have seizures, or people who know someone who does.

People with seizures can face many unseen difficulties and dangers, from poor mental health including suicide, seizure phobia, and (especially in the case of non-epileptic seizures) PTSD, to physical health issues being harmed or even killed by the seizures themselves, or someone else who is ignorant to the subject.

Please signal boost. I would greatly appreciate it, and I'm sure many people who suffer would too.

As a person with seizures I have personally been subjected to the limiting infrastructure which keeps me and people like me from being able to lead lives worth living. Systemic problems and lack of support which can make it extremely difficult to even have autonomy or get diagnosed. I have personally been without a diagnosis for my seizures for over ten years. Epilepsy can kill. Not getting help is not okay. Awareness can help save lives.

Since OP has explicitly asked for signal boosting I'm also gonna tag @disabilityflagsarchive @radiomogai @liom-archive

[ID: A flag with 5 horizontal stripes, the middle of which is thinner. They are purple, light purple, white, yellow, and cyan. The middle of the flag has a white circle with a black center. /End ID.]

your ableism isn't aesthetic and i know this is not the only time this has been mentioned.

(decided to put this in actual rb)

Can't believe have to say this but AAC USERS WHO USE AAC TO TYPE LITERALLY CANT HELP IT. ITS NOT AESTHETIC.

Lots, majority of AACs have punctuation spaced out like that. We literally can't change it. It's not an aesthetic choice or purposeful

And to call AAC users ableist for using their AAC just feels.. gross.

that is not what i was calling out. having spaces between punctuation is perfectly fine, the issue comes when every single word AND punctuation is double spaced. normal spacing is easy to read; the issue that me and multiple others i've discussed this with have is the *double* spacing - that's when my eyes start to skip between things. and as far as i know, aac does not do that
