What is the better April first holiday and what does this saucy little scamp have to do with it
I can't find an article in English but essentially in France it is a common children's prank to on April Fool's put little paper fish on people's backs and it's called "poisson d'Avril" (April Fish). when i was in school in our french classes we would hide paper fish around the school as well and i took great joy in wedging mine in deeply impractical places that im honestly not sure were ever found. looking at it now, my French teachers had billed it as a Whole Separate Holiday but it actually seems more to be like a cultural in-joke/France-Specific April Fool's Prank lol whoops
regardless I like it better than some of the more mean spirited stuff I've seen associated with American April Fool's day
can't be mad at someone just taping one of these lil guys to your back right !

All four stone in my Forest Floor series are done. Just thinking about mossy stones, dappled light on the forest floor, lichen, bark, leaves.
I had fun dressing up stones again.
Linen, cotton, wool and silk threads. River stones.

Documenting Some Squeaky Butt Oddities
Hello everypony! I've decided to document some squeaky butt oddities since these strange Venezuelan variants seem to be somewhat obscure. Feel free to use these as references, but ask before adding them to any websites!
Both of my Lickety Split pose ponies are actually hybrid poses. The yellow one has a Tootsie head, and the green one has a CP head.
CP ponies can have flat or concave feet. The FF have no hoof markings, but the CC says "©82 Hasbro" on one of the front hooves.
There are two different types of squeakers within my herd.
A few of my squeakies have one noticeably longer leg that makes it a little difficult for them to balance!
Most squeakies are completely bald, not even having plugs punched out for mane rooting, but on rare occasions they have manes! Considering how poorly made these ponies are, the hair is actually rooted very nicely.
Speaking of poor quality, their plastic easily discolors with age to create some interesting looks. My white ponies are turning a mix of a peachy pink and yellow, and my dark green pony almost looks black!
You may also notice by looking at these pictures that eyes and heights of ponies (even ones with the same mold) are very inconsistent. These ponies are very bizarre, very fascinating, and very much underappreciated!

I knew about the existence of Squeaky Butts but not much beyond that so this is really cool info! I never knew the squeaker was actually IN their butthole 😆😆

Look at that ribbon work!!! I wish they had switched it to the two were in front and one in back but oh well.
I had to do some triage as unfortunately it had been washed and the color bled on to the lace. I removed all of it and tried to dye the rest the same color, the small lace did so nicely but the larger lace did not. I wasn't too sad about it as I realized I hated the larger lace on it (it was on the sleeves and the hem) as it felt overly fussy and overwhelming. Just having the small lace at the neck and sleeves adds a little bit of fancy but the focus is on the ribbon embroidery where it belongs:)

Thank goodness I have no particular interest in knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc., and am therefore immune to yarn. I'm already plagued enough by the urge to Acquire Fabric, and I can't imagine how much worse it must be for people who both sew and do yarn stuff, and are therefore tempted by both!
It is a curse I must bear...

Not usually, no. They tend to lose some of their color when they’re preparing to molt and then come out looking more vibrant, but they typically don’t change colors completely. Banana Bread is just a very fashionable lobster I guess
