Chaos AU: Fractured Reprise: a series of a pmd inspired story set in the pokemon world about a special soul

Inverse AU: A Partner To Treasure: A human-turned-pokemon wakes up in a pokemon-only world with no memories besides her name and the fact she was a human. Many pokemon in the town are kind to her and offer help, but she has a strange feeling from the start about the very first pokemon she meets.

some info on the tags i use!

  • all posts are tagged “art” “gif” “text” “video” along with “funny” “meme”, and then with whatever game they’re about/from, “rescueteam” “explorers” “gti” “psmd”, and “rescueteam dx” 
  • warning! since this is for all of the pokemon mystery dungeon games, there will be spoilers for all of them, but they will be tagged according to each game; “rescueteam spoilers” “explorers spoilers” “gti spoilers” “psmd spoilers”, and “rescueteam dx spoilers”
  • all hero/partners are tagged by what pokemon they are
  • i also included their evolutions in that tag, so if you see a hero grovyle tagged as “treecko”, that’s on purpose, to make it easier on myself and others, so i don’t have to tag all the evolutions as well, and there’s no real point anyway
  • next, any art showing ANY guild members, or ANY of the expedition society are tagged as “guild” or “expedition society”, even if it’s just one or two shown, that’s the tag
  • same goes for any of the kids & villagers from serene village, tagged “serene village”
  • any pokemon from gti are tagged as “paradise”
  • grovyle, primal dialga, dusknoir, celebi and sableye will be tagged as “future crew”
  • if there’s a LOT of pokemon, expect me to be super lazy and not go tagging all of them…so, sorry. sometimes i’ll tag all the pokemon but not the games they’re from, it depends
  • “team meanies”, “team skull” and “team charm” are also their own tags

aPtT Update Chapter 10

Dianne is a very logical thinker, which is both a good thing and a bad thing. she prefers to be up front and honest about things (she doesn't like small talk so she doesn't like beating around the bush). she tries to be careful with her words and thinking things thru carefully and thoroughly, but still messes up every now and then in some way

just some pmd stuff (i have been yearning)

My hero OC's name is Francis in every incarnation but she has preferred nicknames sometimes. Her designs are intended to be seen as a portrayal of how my overall gameplay felt (i.e. aggressive/attack-heavy or alternatively more prone to using items/healing/defending) in addition to the hero's dialogue. :3

Explorers!Francis (Francis) is predictably my favorite, she's a tad malnourished and hardened compared to the others so she's skinnier and lacks that Pikachu chub™. Rescue Team!Francis (Frannie) is bossy and hotheaded, Super!Francis (Fran) is doting and sympathetic. :)

tfw u save the world and can finally growed up

my headcanon for Mew/partner is that they're adaptive to their environment so they take on certain features/elements depending on the things and pokemon they live around, rescue team!Aukai is swampy + covered in barnacles/grass/etc. since he lives at the turtleshell pond (but i like to think he happily just sleeps outside on the ground in front of the house he gave frannie lmao). explorers!Aukai took on aspects of his lil relic fragment, might add the patterns of it to the outside of his shell if im feeling quirky. and super!Aukai took after his adoptive carracosta papa. :3

hero AKA Francis is a little less complicated, pikachu to raichu is a pretty simplistic change, i didnt want to do too many additions to her designs. figure her cheeks/tail glow green when she's using her electric attacks.

I found this band called We Are Still Alive through their song “Sometimes I Wish Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Didn’t Change My Life”. Obviously, I needed to know more

Another one of their songs is “We Are Still Alive (Life Goes On)”, obviously a reference to the track in the In the Future of Darkness Special Episode

At least on their Spotify profile text, clearly their band name, too, is a PMD reference: “...the wind, the light! if you can carry my message, please send it to them! we are still alive!” (also a quote from the EoS Special Episode)

I’ve been desperately trying to find more info on them- they haven’t seemed to have posted anything since 2022. I can’t find much more info on them other than what I’ve said here, so I figured I’d send out the call. Does anyone know any more about this guy?

Some PMD OCs I've been sitting on for a very long time. :D Originally they were meant to be a part of like a post-apoc PMD story but I'll probably just make them more normie PMD OCs.

The Sigilyph is named Ahul, he's aloof and doesn't trust easily. Figure he comes from a hard life, fighting to survive, always hungry, etc. and that's why he's so standoffish. He mostly keeps to himself until he stumbles upon an orphaned baby Riolu who he reluctantly takes in and raises as his daughter. :3 He names her Ata after his sister.
