Poppy's Ang- Wait a minute! There's two of them!

Yep! Gabriel and Ariel have gotten a slight update! They've become a bit more stylized, their scars better shown, and to top it all off, their colors have been revised too, as this was the color they were meant to have.

I had a really old phone which dulled the color so my perception was off when designing them. Either way, they look better!

{But a cute thought came to mind with the player being surrounded in a cuddle pile with Poppy, Kissy, Dogday and Doey. I am a firm believer of these 4 should have reunited again and slowly gotten better with some fucking therapy.}

{I will hence now call the safe haven crew + plus Player the Guardian Quintet. I did say Guardian Trio last time, but now I'm including Poppy and Player into the mix... because I can't not see the five of them as a little found family who has their share of hiccups but deeply care for each other..}

I like to think that post-game, the bigger toys make sure at least one of them is keeping watch over Doey, because he tends to ignore his own well-being in order to take care of the little ones. Catnap watches him during the night, Marie usually takes the morning shift because she helps Angel make breakfast by distractig the little toys, and Dogday takes the afternoon shift. Poppy is there as a helper 24/7, though. It takes Doey three months to realize the group is taking care of him.

why should you change it?

When you guys pop up in our notifications, most seasoned tumblr users will suspect you’re a bot and block on sight.

why do we block immediately?

tumblr has a history of bots trying to infiltrate and establish a connection to a valid, existing blog in order to populate google searches. Simply liking or reblogging a post, not just adding a scam link to it, establishes this connection. Tumblr users don’t want this to happen, especially if it’s a scammy p*rn bot. So, we often block on sight.

So now I have to reblog stuff AND change my pfp?

Well, of course that’s up to you! I just want to explain why you may have been already blocked by an artist/blogger you may have discovered recently, and how you can avoid it in the future.

Reblogging does help creators more than likes because your reblogs will show up on the dash of those that may follow you. Plus, reblogging puts that post on your own blog, and in case the original gets deleted or edited by the OP, it’ll be on your blog like that–forever (or until you delete your blog). Nice.

Putting in my words here but, I agree. Reblogs do help more than likes. Does that mean the poster only wants reblogs though? NO. Absolutely not. They’d love both in fact! And I certainly do. I appreciate everyone’s likes but for Tumblr, likes aren’t enough. Reblogs are what drives peoples posts further and to bigger audiences! That’s the biggest thing any artist needs to grow and expand their community. Only 2-3 people reblog my posts out of the 9-10 people who actually like my posts, but I have a total of 37 followers. My followers do not equal my note count. Most of the people who follow me are mostly inactive blogs or ones that are only active sometimes. Which puts me at the very bottom of Tumblr’s algorithm and that prevents my posts from being seen by anyone. The lower the notes, the harder it is for artists to be seen or noticed. And that really destroys the motivation and spirit of the artist. Many small blogs usually give up eventually, and I’ve thought of it myself recently. Without exposure, I’ll never be able to eventually do commissions. So reblogs are very much appreciated on all my posts!
