Welcome! This post is meant to be a quick rundown in detail of what's going on here exactly.
I've got something to show you! Now re-introducing...
Poppy's Ang- Wait a minute! There's two of them!
Yep! Gabriel and Ariel have gotten a slight update! They've become a bit more stylized, their scars better shown, and to top it all off, their colors have been revised too, as this was the color they were meant to have.
I had a really old phone which dulled the color so my perception was off when designing them. Either way, they look better!

{But a cute thought came to mind with the player being surrounded in a cuddle pile with Poppy, Kissy, Dogday and Doey. I am a firm believer of these 4 should have reunited again and slowly gotten better with some fucking therapy.}
{I will hence now call the safe haven crew + plus Player the Guardian Quintet. I did say Guardian Trio last time, but now I'm including Poppy and Player into the mix... because I can't not see the five of them as a little found family who has their share of hiccups but deeply care for each other..}

Omg getting MORE asks about my Red Angel AU has me RATTLING IN JOY.
On the terms of settling, time and place, not much has changed! Playco is still a labyrinth of horrors and lies <3
Now I donโt wanna spoil too much from my story! Iโm only onto chapter two, but we havenโt even met Poppy properly yet >:3
Some notes I can share though, are:
- PlayCo had a Youth program, akin to fast food restaurants recruiting young workers for cheap labor. Pat was 12 when they started working there!
- I do plan to save some of the toys. Which ones I mostly base off of reasoning on โhow far they are goneโ (and in some special cases, Iโve actually altered the characters entirely to be redeemable/more cooperativeโจ) (m also working on a ref sheet for the Allies/saved BBIโs pat manages to rescue)
- The toys are split into levels now, almost a kin to a hierarchy with; The Father (proto), the Prophetโs (Catnap, Doey, MLL, Sawyer), Followers (the toys in the game station, the smiling critters in the Playhouse, EVERYONE in safe haven), Security (Huggy, Boxy, Yarnaby) and the Soulless (also known as โFeralsโ)
- I have alternated the design for a couple of the toys, mostly to have them look a) more like toys, and b) more like 1800-1900โs era toys.
As for Catnap and Dogday?

Nightmare Critters counterpart discussion.
{So, before I begin, I would like to point something out. I don't normally do speculation like this to a larger scale. However, I would also point this out as well regarding the discussion of these 16 characters:}
