I know im not here often anymore, but??? I’ve had?? My second strange resident evil encounter???? So anyway.

I work comic and pop culture events full time as my job. This weekend I’m working a gaming show, and i got to try out some of the booths before the show opens and one of them!!!! Had!!!!

RE 1.5!!!!!!! And i got to play it for a bit!!!

Which was very very cool.

But!!!!!

While I was playing, a guy walked up behind me and was watching and said “oh, resident evil! Thats cool. I don’t recognize that one though?”

So I explained what it was and was like. Yeah I’m a HUGE resident evil fan! And he was like.

Oh nice! You know! I was the mocap actor for Chris Redfield for Code Veronica, re5, re6, and the Vendetta movie :)

And I was like.

WAIT WHAT

Anyway. I met Chris Redfield’s bones.

Majoring in Biology at university and then ending up working in a lab really hits different when you’re playing Resident Evil and reading through shady bioweapon corporation files. At some point, you start side-eyeing your own workplace like, “If I see one more classified file with ‘highly experimental’ in the title, I’m out.”

I've seen a lot of people say that Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney takes place this year, but Polly's birthday is canonically in the second half of 2003 (Capcom confirmed 2003, wiki says July-December), so I'm pretty sure it takes place in 2026. Unless his birthday is in the first week of July, it is mathematically impossible for it to take place this year as Apollo was 22 during Turnabout: Serenade.

Regardless of the exact dates of the game, Apollo is now canonically old enough to buy and consume alcohol in the United States (would have turned 21 by the end of last year).
