one thing that especially frustrates me about the switch 2 is that it feels like it's pricing kids out of gaming. i grew up during the nintendo ds era when you could get a console for $130 and new games for $30, and i knew a ton of kids at my school who owned a ds. it's really hard for me to imagine kids in 2025 toting around $450 consoles and $80 games with anywhere near that same level of ubiquity

#and people using “inflation” as an excuse piss me off bc were still getting paid the same we did 20 years ago#i used to be able to buy my own video games growing up#kids making the same money i did are not going to be able to do that now

i hate having to do this but i didnt make nearly enough money to cover my medical bills, i dont need 3k like i did before but im still 500$ in the shitter. i plan on selling artworks in the future but i just dont have the time right now. any bit helps
