Multishipper And Dead Doves Do Not Eat Lover

Just a regular lurker

Rule no.1 of Berserk: Casca is always right. If she tells you not to pick up a stray swordsman by the side of the road because he will ruin everything, you listen. No matter how big and brown and sad his eyes are. You. Listen.

Hi everyone!!!! This is a Castlevania Nocturne discord! We are a small tight knit group and you enjoy the Netflix fandom and enjoy sharing your art and writing, come check out it! We support artists and independent works and media such as Zine!

This is also a safe space for any pairings and all pairings are welcome from canon to Richter/Annette and Olrox/Mizrak and rare pairs like Olrox/Richter and Alucard/Olrox! Every pairing is welcome from canon to fanon, we have space for you! We have sections of favorite characters and all headcanons and interpretations are welcome down here! The ONLY requirement is that you have to be 18+ and older because we have some channels that are NSFW and are inappropriate for minors! We welcome everyone and everyone is friendly down here!!!

I'm not sure I can express this sentiment strongly enough, but I'm going to try via the medium of large bolded text.

Write what the fuck you want.

Write what makes you happy. Write what makes your soul sing. Write what fucks you up and makes you cry. Write what comforts you. Write what distracts you. Write what you want to read. Write what you want to watch.

Write what you want to dream about tonight.

Write what you can't get enough of. Write what you're completely obsessed with. Write what wakes you up at 4am and drags you out of bed because you can't stop thinking about what your characters are going to do next.

Write what turns you on, if that's your vibe. Write characters you're in love with and characters who inspire you and characters you want to be friends with and characters you fucking hate but oh my god they're so much fun.

Write about things you would sell your soul to do in real life and things you would never do in real life. Write about things that are happening right now and things that happened a thousand years ago and things that might happen in the future and things you wish could happen.

Write to get a publishing deal or to sell your books yourself or not to sell your books at all. Write for your friends or for strangers or for the people who reblog your posts on Tumblr and send you songs that remind them of your characters.

Write for yourself.

Fuck any system that tells you there's only one right way to create or one valid way to share your writing. Your story, the way you tell it, has so much value. Make people smile or piss people off or do both of those things because art is divisive and fascinating and beautiful.

Start writing. Keep writing. And write what the fuck you want.

Gaston really is the most terrifying Disney villain because he could be anyone in the world.

Later he convinces the whole town to set up his wedding with the knowledge that the would-be bride would be thrown into it. Everyone finds his creepy-ass tactics as cute and “boys will be boys” esque. So yeah, he is terrifying.

Yeah, the truly scary thing about Beauty and the Beast isn’t that Gaston exists, but that society fucking loves him. People who deride the movie by saying it’s about Stockholm Syndrome are ignoring that it’s actually about the various ways that truly decent people get othered by society. People don’t trust the Beast because of the way he looks, which only feeds his anger issues and pushes him further away. Gaston isn’t the only one who criticizes Belle for being bookish, either; the whole town says there must be something wrong with her. And her father gets carted off to a mental asylum for being just a little eccentric.

Howard Ashman, who collaborated on the film’s score and had a huge influence on the movie’s story and themes, was a gay man who died of AIDS shortly after work on the film was completed. If you watch the film with that in mind, the message of it becomes clear. Gaston demonstrates that bullies are rewarded and beloved by society as long as they possess a certain set of characteristics, while nice people who don’t are ostracized. The love story between Belle and the Beast is about them finding solace in each other after society rejects them both.

Notice how the Beast reacts when the whole town comes for him. He’s not angry, he’s sad. He’s tired. And he almost gives up because he has nothing to live for. But then he sees that Belle has come back for him, and suddenly he does. In the original fairy tale, the Beast asks Belle to marry him every night, and the spell is broken when she accepts. In the Disney movie, he waits for her to love him, because he cannot love himself. That’s how badly being ostracized from society and told that you’re a monster all your life can fuck with your head and make you stop seeing yourself as human.

Society rewards the bullies because we’ve been brought up to believe that their victims don’t belong. That if someone doesn’t fit in, then they have to be put in their place, or destroyed. And this movie demonstrates that this line of thinking is wrong. It’s so much deeper than a standard “be yourself” message, and that’s why it’s one of my favorite Disney movies.

Reblogging for commentary.

Most of us will not experience a Cinderella style abusive upbringing. We will not be a pawn for a scheming villain like Jafar, Ursula or Scar. But we will all meet a Gaston. Every one of us will, at some point, meet a person whose nasty, bullying behaviour is excused by the people around them, because they’re rich, or handsome, or good at sports, or their parents are important. And that is why Gaston is a terrifying Disney villain. Because there’s at least one version of him in everyone’s life.

This scene intrigued me a lot:

"I am afraid Olrox" ,HE IS AFRAID OF DEATH DESPITE HIM TELLING US THAT MONKS SHOULD NOT FEAR DEATHHH , and he tells Olrox. He wants comfort, wants A WAY OUT. He does not want to DIE. I feel this is a half permission for the 'DEED'.

On the other hand, Olrox listens intently, and it's attentive, he comforts him, secures him, mulls over THAT way of saving him, take times to.

Orlox comforts him phisically, and not only that, its a romantic gesture, affection, "It's gonna be fine", and the words MY LOVE the ultimate we AND THEM need to hear that, they indeed are connected more that phisically.

Mizrak is scared of what's to come, of turning of course, BUT DOEST NO REFUSE, is not TERRIFIED to push Olrox away, remember, half permission, half acceptance.

Resignation, after the pain of the bite, then crying for what's to come, even if hell go to hell, he's not alone.

And as an extra:

Putting the eroticism aside, Mizrak can no longer bask in that ray of light, he's rigid, unmoving possibly really angry. RIght after this he shows that he IS in a rage, then goes for the Olrox neck, and Olrox let's him , because HE IS THE FIRST drop of blood that he starvingly wants. In some works vampires, are drinking each other's blood and is seen as erotic and can be equalled with s3x, as they feel euphoria.

And in conclusion:

I'm crying my heart out right now, credit for this analysis to @b-l-u-e-equinox , she did an amazing job!
