reblog to give warm bread to your mutuals
This powerful image captures the face of a wounded Palestinian woman whose hijab is soaked in blood—likely her own or that of a loved one. Her eyes tell a story of unimaginable pain and strength in the face of loss. She stands in a chaotic hospital hallway, surrounded by others in distress. As an oppressed and weak woman from Gaza, I see myself in her. I, too, have suffered greatly—my baby, Qais, was injured in the war, and the hospital refused to treat him because we cannot pay. Please, I beg you to help us. Your donation can provide the medicine and care Qais urgently needs.
1. I wait in line for two hours just to bring food back to our tent – food that is never enough.
2. I clean the shoes of strangers on the street– just to earn a few coins for Qais's medicine.
3. We were turned away from the hospital– they said no money, no treatment, even for a child as young as Qais.
I carry this pain in silence, but I cannot bear it alone anymore. The woman in this picture used her hijab to try and save her son’s life. I am doing everything I can to save mine. But without help, I fear I will lose him too. Please, Donate anything you can—no matter how small. Even a few dollars could mean a meal, a medicine dose, or a chance for Qais to live. Share this, speak up, and help us survive.
Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is ( #64 )🍉🇵🇸
I am a weak and oppressed woman living in Gaza, struggling every day while everyone ignores my suffering. I have no income, no food, and no clothing. Please, I am desperate and willing to clean your shoes or do any work in exchange for any help you can offer. I just need to survive😭💔.

Remember when I did those 8 space marine chapters that were lesser known than your typical Black Templars and Imperial Fists? Well I was commissioned by a friend to draw 8 more marine chapters, but this time they came from his alternate universe re-telling of 40k that involved all new primary's. Each of these chapters descends from a unique legion within this universe.
Here is some additional context:
Whatcha think? Which ones vibe with you? Would you wanna see more? Let me know below!
Warhammer40k is a games workshop thingie.
Made in photoshop.
The entitlement of US Vietnam vets is so fucking wild because, like, on top of everything else they lost the war! These people will stand tall and demand you recognize the “sacrifices” they made for your “freedom,” as though they didn’t suffer a humiliating military defeat. Talk about participation trophies!
The nature of service work in the US is that someone will frequently walk up to you and say “Hello, I shot every Vietnamese child I could see and still lost the war. Please give me everything for free now? 🥺” and if you do the decent thing and tell them to kill themselves you get fired
Kasumi's mission is so funny to me because Shepard goes undercover, except their face has been plastered on alliance recruitment posters, and colonial seals, and god knows what else the last two years. Their voice echos across the citadel singing endorsements for every shop. They can get interviewed by a popular reporter. Universe's most recognizable human. Master thief kasumi goto decided to have them go undercover.
Anything can become reactionary RETVRN nostalgia if you idolize it and refuse to let it evolve. Hell, even the ’60s protest aesthetics got co-opted by later generations as empty cosplay.
I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter was one of the best works of sci-fi of our generation and one of the best works of transgender fiction ever written, and there are world renowned authors who still have successful careers after they publicly assassinated the nascent woman who wrote it. I don't think they should ever know peace.
Looking it up, it's horrific, genuinely horrifying, how many people ripped into someone over a piece of literature when they later admitted that they never even had the respect to read past the title.
And as for what happened after, I.
This is the most heartbreaking thing I have ever read.
To claim to be supporting the transgender community, and doing THIS to someone, I'm shaking, I don't know how to describe the mix of rage, grief, and sorrow I have.
It isn't some exaggeration to say that this ruined a life. It's the cold reality of it. And, the people who've done this have hardly even expressed regret or shame over what they've done.
Normally, this is the part where we would go into a tangent, and start ranting about the underlying causes and thoughts that caused this, but I can't think of any of that right now, the words won't show, I'm stunned to silence this is so outrageous.

One time I was getting harassed in public for being a trans woman and my nonbinary friend started crying for not sticking up for me
this is why we use the phrase “transmisogyny exempt” and “transmisogyny affected”. do better by transfems.
SOUND ON.
(Quds) At Microsoft’s 50th anniversary celebration, Ibtehal AbuSaad — a Palestinian employee — interrupted the event in a powerful protest against the company’s complicity in the Israeli genocide unfolding in Gaza.
Facing Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman, AbuSaad didn’t hold back: “Shame on you,” she said firmly. “You are a war profiteer. Stop using AI for genocide.”
Her voice cut through the celebration as she condemned Microsoft’s role in enabling Israeli occupation forces through artificial intelligence technology.
“You have blood on your hands. All of Microsoft has blood on its hands. How dare you all celebrate while Microsoft is helping kill Palestinian children?”
Her act of courage joins a growing wave of tech workers and global voices calling out Western complicity in Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza, where tens of thousands of Palestinians — the majority of them women and children — have been slaughtered under a brutal siege.
you don't "hate kids," you hate being forced into a caretaking role.
you don't "hate kids," you hate censorship passed off as family values.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the constrictiveness of the nuclear family.
you don't "hate kids," you're just not used to occupying fully age diverse spaces so you're not used to the noise or the many different kinds of needs.
you don't "hate kids," most public spaces just aren't built for kids, and so the few kids you see are always uncomfortable and distressed.
you don't "hate kids," you hate the intense social rules assigned to kids and anyone who interacts with kids.
You don't "hate kids," you hate how society reproduces its most restrictive elements and how kids are powerless to resist it.
maybe some day people will look inwards and reconsider their knee-jerk impulse to point to cooks/food service workers as their go-to example of worthless filth who everyone else deserves to be paid more than. but not today, apparently.
