I feel like this is necessary so people don't get unnecessarily upset or confused by my bio.
Yes, I identify as bisexual. Both men and women are attractive to me.
Yes I am a practicing Catholic. I live my Faith exactly as I have been taught, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
I do NOT act on my feelings towards women. I feel feelings, but I do NOT act on them. No dating, no kissing, no nothing. It is explicitly not allowed, and I follow this.
I do preach love and tolerance and acceptance that such people exist, and we must love them. This does not mean I agree with people acting on homosexual feelings, it means I accept people disagreeing with my beliefs, and that's normal. Love the sinner, hate the sin.
What this means, is that I am a publicly bisexual Catholic person. I want to bridge the gap between the LGBT and Catholics, and have both sides see not everyone is a jerk. I do not support hatred towards religion/religious people, or towards any LGBT people.
I hope this clears up any confusions anyone might have. Have a happy month of the Sacred Heart.
