the tumblr text editor is so goddamn weird. lots of little features in this guy that i've straight up not seen anywhere else i'm pretty sure. if there's a url in your paste buffer and you paste into some highlighted text it'll just hyperlink the existing text. that's convenient as hell. nowhere else does that. why did they do that.

if you highlight something and then type a quotation mark it will wrap quotes around the highlighted text rather than deleting it. the only other text editor i've ever seen act like that is, like, vscode with brackets. it's a Choice.
