for the first time in a while, you wake up refreshed.

you’ve got the kind of feeling that makes you feel all giddy inside, like everything’s going right, and it brings an incurable smile onto your face that’s hard to ignore.

for literal months, you felt like you were kind of…trapped. your mind was swirling with thoughts that you had never thought before, your body feeling tired in ways that you had never felt before– you just felt empty. 

but everything felt like it was slowly turning itself around. for one, you didn’t have school on monday, so you decided to utilize that day by catching up with the group, settling on some bar to chat at, though you really only agreed to have a glass of wine and serve as the designated driver, just like old times.
