ASH IS APPARENTLY CONFIRMED JOINING THIS IS SUCH A FUCKING WIN!
"prince"
Pspsps! If you don’t know what this is about, this is because the Keepers basically see anyone claiming to be royalty (Foolish is on this list as well, they call him “False King”) as fake.
This is because it’s not the true, original kingdom that the keepers were a member of. They aren’t their royalty.
Idk how caught up you are so I thought this might help
Preface before I get too deep into this: I haven't rewatched any of the Pangi vods (except pangkey moments for research but it isn't relevant) in a bit, so some of the facts can be not exactly accurate and feel free to call me out in the tags, however I try to keep everything laid out plainly. If this isn't obvious, this is from a pov of a Pangi viewer - if Pili has specified something different in his streams, I won't know it, and feel free to tell me about it and I'll try to correct it.
Now to the topic of the post: there is an insane amount of mischaracterization surrounding Pili 2, which leads to the character hate he doesn't deserve. If you want to hate the character, do it for the actions he has actually done, or for the fact that you don't like split personality trope, or anything else - but don't attribute actions done by another character to him.
I’ve kinda been thinking about how Pangi seems to be almost cursed to consistently have a bad time and a thought kinda hit.
What if that wasn’t an accident?
When Red Faction was introduced it had a singular goal made by the Keepers. To cause conflict, and unite the factions together against a cause.
Pangi however, basically ruined that when he befriended Pili1 and got so attached to him that it formed an alliance between Green and Red. Causing the factions to now be fractured into halves, rather than united against a singular goal.
Pangi shifted the whole story by doing the act of befriending Pili1. From there, his life seemed to quickly spiral out of control.
What if that wasn’t an accident?
What if the Keepers, infuriated by the potential loss of a united front against the corruption, cursed him? To never allow him to have a stable relationship, a calm life? For him to never know true peace.
It’s interesting how much he inadvertently changed, and how much it changed himself and the server. Just some food for thought.
