Hey there! This is a secondary blog that doesn't get a huge amount of use, but we show up a couple times a month to say something or another, or to go on a reblog spree about something.

We're a system, but we're only out about it on this blog, so when we come here we talk about it a lot, so that's something to be aware of.

remember how last time i talked about jewel and tangle and their friendship i made that comic about when mimic shapeshifted into jewel and mentioned how i think tangle feels guilty about a bunch of shit that's happened to jewel because she fancies herself a protector, a shield to a fragile friend

Yeah. Come to think of it... in the comics almost everything Tangle does is for someone else, or to help someone else. I don't think she's done a single selfish thing, ever.

well, no, i can promise you she did at least once when they went on the first diamond cutters mission and it was Going to be a stealth mission but she was having too much fun. arguably the naming of the diamond cutters was also a selfish thing she did, but again, that's iffy because there's also the idea that you think you're doing something to help someone else but you're wrong. ect ect.

ANYWAY. to your point, a lot of the things she does is for other people. she fights for other people, she runs to save them, she wants everyone safe, but she can't do everything. she can't help everyone. and she has those that are the most important to her -- jewel and whisper in particular.

i figure it's these two specifically [thank you anniversary and annuals], and i think if she had to choose, to a certain degree, it would be them first. and between them two, i like to think she'd choose jewel

tangle kisses like she wants to savour the moment. whisper kisses quick and like it’s the last one she’ll ever have. both of them kiss like they’re gonna lose each other

the thing about this one is that you have GOT to consider how i've explained tangle's childhood. jewel fears her own death because she knows it runs in her family. tangle fears loss because she's never had a steady home. she lost her parents before she can remember, and lived in an orphanage where the caretakers changed often and had different degrees to which they allowed her to be a person. she was adopted by jasper, and then jasper died. now, tangle savours moments. she wants them to be memorable, because she's used to losing, so at least let it be nice while she has it.

whisper is used to war. she's used to goodbyes that might be her last. it isn't about making moments that feel good - it's about taking the chance now while she has time. and time isn't something she feels she has a lot of, so it's quick, but it's a lot. because it needs to be. it needs to say everything she wants to say, but quick.

emmie is so funny because. like. okay so imagine this. first of all you have to imagine youre in love with a prison. and because youre so in love with the prison you feel pretty solid that youll never have to have kids. which is GREAT because you do NOT want kids.

and then one of the prisoners in the prison is like, wow, it's so nice that you like our prison so much. you may as well be married. and you would not consider yourself married, no. maybe in like a push and pull situationship. and then the prisoner says here take a baby. which you were CERTAIN you werent going to have to deal with because you were in love with a prison.

AND the prisoner is god also
