Helloooo greetings, hey I was wondering if you could make a drawing of The Groovy Trio (Fresh! Sans, Fresh! Ink and Fresh! Error)

Honestly this came out better then I thought it was gonna

FRESH FANS COME GET YOUR FOOD

HOLY SHIT FRESH!ERROR CONTENT WHAT

rare vent art from a few months ago

I feel this!!! Also love how you muted the color along the way, I think it makes it that much more impactful!

This is the thing!

…Takes a while, sometimes.

Keep looking tho - they are out there and it is worth it when you find them.

Love it every time.

It’s the best when you get the ability to cut that kind of person out of your life, too. You may not be in a good enough place mentally to make that kind of change right now, though, and that’s okay. You’ll get stronger, things will get better, and you’ll be able to move away from toxic people to spend time with genuine friends.

aww rayyyy

i love you too

Don't let anyone put you down, ok?

we're here for you!

^v^

note* I will not reveal which side I am on until the poll is over to avoid bias

that is PINK

Idk, I'd use it in a children hospital.

thats a faded red???? Maybe a slightly fruity red??? But its nowhere near pink???

...Okay, I see what's going on now. The short answer is that on paper, it's a pinkish shade of red. In practice, it could be counted as red or pink.

That color, #fc5261, has a hue at 355. On a 360° palette, Pure Red is at 0, Pure Magenta is at 300, and what could be called Pure Pink is at 330.

Red has a tight margin before it starts registering as a shade of orange or pink because their hues are such close neighbors compared to Warm Green and Cool Green– and I'll get to why. Orange ranges between ~10 and ~40, with Pure Orange at 30; and if we count Magenta as Cool Pink, then Pink ranges between ~290 and ~350. 355 is very close to the point at which Cool Reds register as Warm Pinks.

#FC5261, is also a softer shade, which can also make it look pinker because lighter shades of red also get counted as "pink," and so do warm purples. If you darken common "pink" colors, you'll often get a warm shade of purple (think wine-color), so a part of the problem is that the definition of "pink" isn't as standardized, linguistically, as other colors.

Which brings me back to orange. Orange is basically warm red, and what we recognize as true reds are the cool reds. "Orange" used to be counted as a yellowish shade of red, until it became commonplace to use an exclusive word for that range of hues– just like with teal.

Check this out from wiktionary dotcom. This is just an example for Romantic languages, but the terms for green and blue hues also used to be split between warm, cool and mid:

Just looking at how the Latin language named colors, you could also argue that purple is cool magenta, cyan is warm blue and yellow is warm orange.

its persimmon. Take it or leave it

"I can give you everything, forever. My eternity. I just can't give you my love."
"Guess I'll have to settle for everything, forever, then."

Not romantic, not platonic, but a secret third thing (fates separate from everything else but intertwined together forever <3)

Ink belongs to comyet

Error belongs to loverofpiggies

EEE I love this so much this is totally what i imagine them like

Okay so I was looking up info about Nightmare and Dreamtale in general ngl, and apparently Corrupted!Nightmare was originally the human who killed Nim, who then somehow possessed one of the apples in the tree????? Which like, that’s so weird, but also it has a LOT of potential.

Okay, so disregarding Dreamtale canon, let’s have Dreamtale be an actual Undertale AU and not like. A world outside of the Undertale Multiverse(joku why did you that(I mean I get it but also. no)). It can still be outside of the Multiverse in the sense that the Antivoid is outside of the timelines(just. just pretend this how the Antivoid has always worked because then that explains how Core!Frisk couldn’t sense Error since they see everything across the timelines-I need to stop). So we can have the human who killed Nim be like the “Frisk” equivalent of that AU, giving him just a bit more sense of purpose. Because he was just some “random human” or whatnot…I dunno, I don’t know where I’m going with that.

Listen, my point is to have the Corruption that took over Nightmare’s body be his universe’s Frisk, because I find that to be interesting.

Anyways, with that established, what if somebody found that out? I’d imagine that would not go down well with anybody. I can’t imagine the drama between Corrupted and his gang. The drama between Corrupted and Dream. Ough

okay so I’m making this a reblog because I could not fit all this into a comment well. @humunanunga

Okay, so from this link -> Here

The person who wrote it said, “Nightmare heard the voice of a man coming from the apples, telling him to eat them and fight back or he would die. This voice was actually the man who killed Nim. His body was absorbed by the roots of the tree when he died, and his soul and conscience had remained trapped within the negative side of the tree ever since, giving said side more power than it should have had without Dream or Nightmare ever knowing so. Following the encouragement, Nightmare ate the apples, giving all the negativity a body to possess. He completely lost control of himself. He became someone else.”

The last sentence links to this post from Joku ->  Here

Which says, “literally the good nightmare (nightmare not corrupted) was another person, no, I do not mean another person as a metaphor. Literally it was another person, the nightmare we know now are all the negative feelings of the tree with the normal nightmare personality…when nightmare ate the apples and started to crack, he had a vision. a dark being equal to him, offered him protection, told him that he would no longer feel pain, that he would take revenge for all the bad things that had been done to nightmare. and the nightmare good, he accept, he embrace the negative feelings that he himself had eaten ….. and that’s why he turned that black thing. The nightmare we know today, is not the same nightmare that was good before. They are two different beings.” Joku used a translator, that’s why the English is a bit wonky.

So what does mean? Has the writer of that “fact” extrapolated from Joku’s words, have they just not found a good source for that, or did they just make it up? I have no earthly idea. Well, I had, but then I reread the comic-specifically the part where Nightmare but the apple-and found this gem: link here

The important part says, “‘Get stronger’ He heard a voice that came from not the tree, but from the black apples; it was the voice of a man, very different to his mother’s. Who was this guy?

So I feel like this is the closest to any sort of confirmation that this was the man who attacked Nim being the Corruption.

Conclusion??? I dunno man. The Corruption is definitely not Nim, for one. It makes sense for it to be the human who attacked Nim though, as it gives him more narrative purpose than just being the one who attacked her. There’s likely more information about this that I just cannot find, unfortunately. But this is all I got.

Oh, and there’s also this comic Joku made(I think) that showed off the human’s design(he looks so cool ngl). Here. Could not access any other parts to that. You can also kinda see the human in the first part of Joku’s comic here.

Ah, I see. I might've either missed or forgotten some of those details from the tragedy comic. I was probably putting dozens of Joku's posts in the queue when I did Dreamtale Ver. 2. I was recently able to find a lot of Dreamtale Ver. 1 posts, so those'll be coming up– which, I'm hoping to unpause the queue after this weekend– but I'm still on the hunt for a lot of V1. I'd only recovered the first page of that V1 comic thanks to @/wickjump, so if you find any surviving reblogs of V1 posts that I haven't archived yet, I'd really appreciate having them sent my way for @/utmvarchive. Everything I have of V1 so far, I decided to tag dreamtale beta.

I was under the impression that it was Nim because of this post, so my theory was that Nim herself had dispersed into the apples when she assimilated into the tree; and the reason Nightmare didn't recognize her was because of the shapeshifting– the corruption could speak to him as his doppelgänger, so if it was her, changing her voice beforehand to hide her true identity didn't seem like a stretch.

It looks like a link to that first post is included in the one I was gonna share, and... yeah, I must've missed that the first time I saw it, but I couldn't find anything either confirming what was said about the poacher being absorbed. So it just never occurred to me that he could've been the one implicated by that one line.

A lot of the trouble's been that he's rarely mentioned, V1's been hard to recover, and there's no telling how much more was retconned for V2 since the animation was left unfinished, as far as I can tell.

Uhh, that thing regarding the human trying to cut down the apple tree being Nightmare...

correct me if i'm wrong, but im pretty sure that was a theory by @xxtha-blog

like, in canon, Corrupted Nightmare has the memories of the human, Nim, and Passive, with Corrupted being his own entity holding all three of them

might be totally off here tho don't mind me
