Ok this might be a bit of a weird question but I keep arguing with my mom and sis about this so I need y'all to answer this

[For context my mom and sis keep telling me I shower for too long but my showers are usually 45 minutes to an hour]

(edit: *your showers not you showers)

Because I needed the reminder and maybe you do too: the best way to deal with political frustration is to do something.

A real and immediate impact you can have that will directly help a Palestinian is to buy an eSIM and send it to gazaesims@gmail.com. This allows Gazans to access mobile data so they can get news out and keep in touch with their friends and family.

If you have never done this before, here is a step by step guide, complete with discount codes. It is slightly technical but still fairly easy (imo, ymmv). If you can't/don't want to buy one directly, you can donate to Crips for eSIMs and they will buy one on your behalf.

You don't have to top up the eSIMs when they get low/run out, but I find it comforting to do so. It means somebody is still alive, and that you've made a hellish experience a tiny bit less terrible.

The 'Cross Stitch for Gaza' bundle contains 63 patterns from 35 artists, and is available to anyone who makes a donation of €15 or more to Hadeel Mikki's GoFundMe page, where she is raising money to help get her family out of Gaza and into safety in Egypt.

Hadeel and her husband and daughters have suffered immensely in the past eighteen months-- they've lost their home, much of their extended family, and, most recently, Hadeel's father.

Their one path to safety is to raise enough money to pay for the crossing into Egypt: for a family of their size, it can cost anywhere from €20,000 to €35,000. It's a formidable amount, but we are committed to do as much as we can to help them-- we're setting our goal at €20,000, and we would love your assistance in helping reach it!

To get the full pattern bundle, head to CrossStitchForGaza.com; you'll be prompted to make a donation to Hadeel's family of €15 or more, after which you can fill out a form on the website to submit a screenshot of your receipt. Once the form is in, one of our volunteers will email you back within 24 hours with your full copy of the bundle!

Thank you so much to the artists and designers who have donated their patterns to this fundraiser-- we have truly been blown away by the response we have received! We'll be posting more pictures here later, but you can also see the full lineup at the Pattern Gallery on our website.

BTW please do not forget your daily clicks! Any myth of this NOT going to Palestine has been debunked, and it doesn't take any time to simply click one button.

You click the button and the ad money goes directly to Palestinian relief funds!!! It's safe, and if you haven't done it before I'd highly encourage you to start now!

Yes, thank you @atlasoffiction ! I should've added this to the post myself, so I appreciate the addition! Yes, if you can, you are able to click on different devices and browsers!
