a new phenomena created by the existence of the quest log is that whenever a weird morphing potion becomes incredibly cheap the pound suddenly has an insane number of pets of that combination

who is taking these pets out of the pound, force feeding them baby bottles, and then dumping them back in?

#neopets#we saw this with the electric moehog to the point where tnt referenced it directly in a GBC#but it happens with a bunch of other morphing potions. case in point.#kinda obnoxious for dedicated pound surfers but kinda funny regardless

shoutout to that one time when TNT released a BD item that could just straight-up delete your opponent's insanely valuable weapon and the backlash was so intense that they removed it the next day

varwolf story quest!! according to the FAQ it'll be in summer 2025, and won't be time limited. my guess is that they'll always be available to make after the quest is completed similar to grundos.

finally, after much anticipation, the

is now live on neopets!

according to their new neopedia page and pet page, not only are they nocturnal opportunistic scavengers that eat even gross foods, but their fur absorbs light and allows them to camouflage themselves (explaining how they've been in the haunted woods all this time and escaped notice)

they even have a spot on the top neopets page and have their own little info animation in line with the other pets (though they're currently occupying the bottom spot given premium perks don't count as created varwolves)
