hi, I'm ellis, 30-something disaster, and this is my personal blog - a mishmash of reblogs and occasional yelling about blorbos, both from my brain and otherwise. here you will find, primarily:

  • miscellaneous fandom stuff (mostly bg3, gw2 and mass effect, with a bunch of doctor who and really anything else etched into my psyche)
  • generalised reblogging across genre and post type
  • sometimes lore snippets for my ever-expanding army of OCs
  • inspiration for aforementioned OC army
  • personal posts sometimes in my #yelling into the void tag, filter that if you don't wanna see those
  • important note for gw2 players: i may not follow you back. i'm still early in the game (fresh off HoT at time of writing) and i'm not expecting the whole fandom to be religiously tagging spoilers for 10+ year old content, but! if you wanna chat my dms are open!

When artists get mad at folks for reposting their work without their permission to other sites, this is what you are doing to their career and their hard work. Giving it up to billion dollar corporations to further devalue their skill and ruin the feasibility of a career in art. You are removing their ability to control their own work and feeding it into a grinder to be abused because you think "it's neat art."

finally started a replay of gw1, approximately 14 years after putting it down in the first place πŸ˜‚new account, new gal, her name is Gwenael and although she is here pictured with a bow, she's a warrior subclass and i'm sorta loving the aesthetic of her with a sword my pre-searing to do list includes but is not limited to:

  • mapping the zone (for fun and enrichment!)
  • LDoA (i nearly had it on my old acc when i quit and it'll annoy me if i don't do it this time)
  • get a bunch of charr bags probably just because. why not. while i'm here. the extra inv space will be nice too i guess

So yeah, at the very very least reduce its use (and I only say "reduce" because I know some workplaces already require workers to use it), and certainly stop it altogether for entertainment purposes.
