HOT, BOILING HOT TAKE: The only reason Jake and Neytiri are together is bcs he basically lied to her until they made the bond π (like? Why wait till your were mated for life to someone???) it was either Neytiri spending the rest of her life mateless or just accepting Jake's sorry ass.

It's the stupid excuses people come up with, excuses that don't justify the way he basically tricked her into an unbreakable lifetime bond.

Yes, because Neytiri had ZERO idea of how involved Jake was with the RDA, she saw him become part of the people, she saw the way he presented himself and acted among the Omaticaya, but she didn't know that Jake was basically giving Quaritch all the info on how to destroy her home... until it was too late, the bond was already made.

Man literally said that the kid was a snitch that would frame them to the RDA (which is why they had to leave the forest) while Spider was literally DYING to not reveal anything, WHY ARE YOU HUGGING HIM JUDAS, STAY AWAY βΒ βΒ βΒ
I can understand that a lot of stuff seemed like either the best they could do at the time (McCoskers as Spider's foster family) or something Jake couldn't do much about (attacking Bridgehead was suicide) but this gesture rings so hollow when just a couple days earlier, when Jake learns recoms are dragging Spider through war crimes and making him translate, he decided to do nothing. He talked everyone else - from Neytiri (sic!) to Metkayina - into doing nothing. And now, that his kids had to go and free Spider because no one else would. Now, that Neteyam is dead. Now, he wants Spider?
He hasn't even looked where Spider is since the ship has sunk. How are we supposed to believe he means this? People talk about this hug as an adoption moment but I didn't see Neytiri agree to this. And I'm not going to believe any of this change of heart is real until I see some real commitment to Spider's safety from Jake.
I love how we all are a dragging Jake for what he is: a hypocrite.

The tails that island Naβvi possess are quite similar to their forest counterparts yet theyβre still thicker and have stronger muscles. Though, they arenβt fin like similar to reef Naβvi. Instead, they have a sort of βdorsal finβ made out of cartilage which aids with swimming
Markings are meant to be a mix between reef and forest markings. The yellow tint is always present unless the certain island Naβvi is sick.
As for the freckles, they can be lines or normal freckles and usually they will form patters. There have been some cases where island Naβvi will only have the lines and no dots.
Island Naβvi will usually have straight hair though a lot of them have been observed to have wavy hair and some have curls. Usually depends on genetics.
For hairstyles, makes keep their hair short and similar to bowl cuts unlike females who keep it long. Itβs common to see them with their hair tied up depending on their role in the clan to keep it out of their eyes
