Noah Hawthorne

@noahhawthorneauthor

I write books, and scream about books. especially the queer ones. 18+ they/ them neshamapublishing.com

I'm Noah Hawthorne, also known as Aelina Isaacs. I write queer stories, and have been publishing books since 2021.

On the second slide you can find all my currently published works, which is the urban fantasy Adventures in Levena series, and the standalone dystopian fiction The Rebel Foxes. On the third slide are my upcoming works. I have a few different works in progress, but right now I'm finishing up The Voice of Wild Places, a queer historical fiction with speculative elements. Mochizuki and Xlato; When A Vampire Falls In Love With A Star, is the third novel in the Adventures in Levena series.

All my stories have threads of found family, fighting oppression, and finding love in all it's vast forms. Mental illness and disability representation are also very important to me, and exist in my stories in one form or another.

I'm a big supporter of small and independent businesses and creatives, and firmly believe community over competition is how we all win. I'm one of the hosts on an indie author podcast called Right Here, Write Queer. I love self publishing, and will always be team human. Team real creativity, and community, and supporting each other.

Every week I try to share book queer recommendations, and I'm more active on Bluesky and Tumblr than anywhere else. I also have a Patreon, where in addition to free posts I also share writing excerpts, resources for authors, and first looks at new art.

A big thank you to @bencalico for my new author photo! I'm so in love with it, she even captured all my pins. Highly recommend her for all your illustration needs, she's fashioned quite a few beautiful pieces for me that I love dearly.

I'm planning to make a series of three illustrations, inspired by classical art. They will also have some fancy medieval borders. I hope I will have energy and time to pull this off.

A game called South of Midnight comes out on April 8th. Y’all keep complaining about media having the same storyline over and over again with the same white people at the forefront. I need you to blow this game the fuck up.

Black female main character. With American South mythology woven in. Completely different

I NEED THIS GAME TO SUCCEED I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS GAME YOU HAVE NO IDEA

I’m looking you in your eyes right now. Play this game. Play this fucking game.

Look at her. Look at this art style. Reviews are really positive around the writing and storytelling. Combat is apparently rather mid, but unless it's actively annoying, that tends not to bother me much.

me having a weird time: man this weird time sucks! i don't feel like myself! i wish i was having a normal time!

me having a normal time: well the weird time did have a certain je ne sais quoi...

SALE ENDS TONIGHT! “Warden” & “Guardian” small art prints are now discounted, while supplies last! You can check ‘em out in my web shop (in my bio)! ❤️

Together they look much better one next to each other. Henry makes Hans repeat that he and his noble ars belongs to him, again and again. And he breathes in every little whimper and moan. Also the light and perspective focusing one each of their faces was intentional. Henry is in the shadow, Hans is in the light.

seeing straight men be disgusted by booktok smut recommenders has actually radicalized me to the side of booktok smut recommenders. girls your taste may be atrocious but i will never disparage you for exposing mainstream discourse to the concept of soaking through your underwear. spent my whole life listening to men talk about penises it’s about time they get jumpscared by women talking about pussy in crude detail on social media. go forth and goon my warriors

I work at a bookstore and hearing one of my male coworkers call smutty romantasy "the downfall of society" because it's "literally just porn" radicalized me

Men have an entire industry. Entire industries dedicated to their sexualities. Let women have fantasy sex. there's not even a camera crew involved.
