💕Name: My name is Nobody (or Bods as @sophieswundergarten has named me. Obviously not my real name, but it’s the name I’m using here). I was formerly @nobody33333333, so if you're looking for that person, that could be me.

  • The main fic I’m working on expands on the Mysterious Benedict Society season 3 lore/content after the Disney+ cancellation, and I have some other TMBS fics on there as well.   • Wicked has taken over my brain. I have fic for it and posts under “#wicked”.

💕Blog Content and Fandoms: This isn't an exclusively fandom blog, but I post a lot about the Mysterious Benedict Society (MBS/TMBS), Wolf359 Podcast, Narnia, Avatar the Last Airbender (ATLA), Star Wars, Starkid/Hatchetverse, Mischief Theater, and probably more. I'll update this post as hyperfixations are collected and resurfaced, but this is mostly an MBS blog right now.

I'm also neurodivergent and occasionally talk about that too. It's fine if you have questions about it, and you're also free to respectfully disagree with any head canons or fandom opinions I have, but please don’t be hateful or ableist. I also mistype things sometimes (a lot) so if you’re ever confused, feel free to ask.

💕DNI: Most of the fandoms I'm in and write fic for are made for general audiences, so please no NSFW content additions on my posts (I tend to just block if it’s on my dash because it’s really not for me, if you think I made a mistake, send a DM). when I was a little kid at some point I got upset with my parents because I didn't have a crucifix in my bedroom and they did- I was like why do YOU get to be safe from vampires??? you're okay with me getting my blood sucked???? so we took a little trip to the catholic store but the one closest to us was run by a group of nuns that had been moved here from romania. I got a little baby pink cross and this sweet old nun was like 'aww, is this a baptism gift?' and I was like no. I need to be protected from vampires. and she immediately got SO serious and was like 'this is the best one we've got, you'll definitely be safe' and since she was literally from vampire land I was convinced she was like, van helsing. like the whole time my parents had been laughing about how cute my fear was but she literally Knew dracula and was taking my concerns seriously I held this over my parents for so long lmfao

Oh this is a fun one. Very well. Hypothetical Star Wars AU:

  1. Curtain is running an evil version of the Jedi Academy and wants to declare himself a Sith Lord King. This is fairly self explanatory.
  2. Curtain and Benedict, being siblings and twins have a psychic connection. So Benedict (books) knows/feels all the painful moments in Curtain’s life including his embrace of the dark side, (and Curtain has a similar opposite experience) but neither has any context for these strange feelings throughout their lives until they meet their brother face to face. In the show, Nicholas, out of guilt, gently distances himself from their bond after his adoption until one day he suddenly feels something terrible is happening to Nathaniel before Nathaniel angrily and painfully severs their bond forever. Nicholas spends the rest of his life missing their connection. Nicholas also assumes Nathaniel died, and he blames himself (because he can’t imagine Nathaniel would have turned to the dark side or closed their bond). The bond between the brothers doesn’t return until they see each other again.
  3. If we’re looking at parallels to young versions of the main Star Wars character tropes, Kate is 100% a smuggler of some kind and Madge is her alien pet. Sticky reminds me of C3PO, but a human version who has encyclopedic knowledge. Reynie is the classic talented Jedi that Curtain obsesses over because he assumes this must be his brother’s main apprentice, and Constance has a mystical psychic connection no one can explain (and can potentially see the future).
  4. Curtain in the books is more like the Emperor. Any book versions of Garrison, SQ’s father, or anyone who might have helped him build the Whisperer was killed to consolidate his power. Curtain in the show is more like Anakin. He turned to darkness to save his friends, failed, and now he’s letting the darkness twist his mind and break his body because he is convinced power and control are the only way to have what he wants.
  5. I’m sorry, this isn’t as cool as the rest of them, but I just realized “Ledroptha Curtain” is his “new Sith name”… that’s hilarious. I also want him being a dad to SQ the way that the Emperor is Rey’s grandfather in crack fic. Reading him bed time stories of the tragedy of “Darth Ledroptha, the wise and powerful. Not a story your lazy and selfish uncle Nicholas would tell you.” Thank you, friend. Have a good evening!

Oh… very interesting. Not sure if this is books or show, but here we go. Five things for this AU:

  1. Constance tries to summon a Tsunami wave to rain on Curtain’s parade (she’s not quite powerful enough, but he does get very wet and extremely upset)
  2. When Constance first meets the others and doesn’t like them, she tries to use her powers to make the others trip over things in purpose. Sometimes Kate is too fast for her powers to work on her, and this annoys and impresses Constance.
  3. Constance uses her powers to play pranks on Jeffers/the Ten Men. Like she turns their weapons back on them and that’s how Crawlings loses the eyebrow.
  4. Constance uses her powers to force Curtain/Garrison/McCracken/Somebody into the Whisperer/Brain Sweeper. I don’t think she’d actually go anything to hurt them, but I’d love to see the fear when they realize she totally could.
  5. Curtain (books) and Garrison (show) design special devices to go over Constance’s head/hands to stop her from manipulating matter, or at least make it more difficult. Garrison does this out of fear and Curtain out of cruelty.

what are some songs you associate with Doctor Molly Garrison?

“The art of selling yourself short” by Less than Jake (which I know I’ve talked about before but the lyrics literally make reference to an “Emergency”, it fits too perfectly. Plus the lines about ruined friendships and substance abuse and self hatred fit the sos vibe).

“The Scientist” by Coldplay. Maybe it’s because I see things literally (but in like a pretty metaphorical way. Like I know when you say the fire in his eyes you just mean he’s mad, but I can see the literal fire too), but I always imagine this song being sung by a literally scientist trying to figure out where they went wrong.

“My Alcoholic Friends” by the Dresden Dolls. There’s a particular line in there about the singer not having the skills to hold down a “noble occupation”, which is what I think Garrison would say if someone asks why she works for Curtain or didn’t just quit years ago.

Finally, I know @lotsofsq has a few numbers as well.

Hera from Wolf 359! (I couldn't just stick with one design, come on.)

Anyways, not to get personal on my fandom tumblr, but Hera Wolf 359's glitchy voice and the way it was addressed in the series is probably the only time I've actually felt represented by a fictional character as someone who's dealt with a speech impediment for most of my life. IDC if it was intentional or not, I love her for it.

Ashes of the Academy would've been far better if Azula was inexplicably working at the school in secret after the spirit temple and everyone was like "oh em jee she's got more nefarious intentions" but she was just, like being a teacher's assistant and helping the kids fingerpaint because she wanted to do something while she contemplated the events of TST and there was an opening
