There'll be no melodramas here

Mostly here for The Terror and its cast, but also generally men on boats, Scandi thrillers, British drama, Korean and world cinema, assorted K Drama, anime), all things Japanese and language in general, lots of other things I like. Soft spot for Sgt Tozer. I think you can tell.

Well, what a ride.

I was not excited about much Ado about Nothing, really wanted to see the Tempest. Then Tempest bombed with poor reviews, and I ended up not going and got the tickets for Much Ado on a whim thanks to the JL Blue Light scheme, front row tickets baby.

It's so much fun. It's singing and dancing and some silly gags and audiences participation at times. Cast aside, not sure what the budget went on (not on the decor, which is a bunch of plastic chairs and a shed loads of pink confetti)- but it was a fab night full of craziness I didn't quite expect. Shakespeare would have loved it.

RIP and best of luck to anyone trying the stage queue door, there must have been a few hundreds of hopefulls out there (but people, dont leave during the performance just to queue, that's just super rude to the cast and the audience members trying to actually watch the show).
