now for the story commentary

I think it's such a sentimental piece, more than anything, I think that in whatever life they meet the one they're in is the one they prefer. People say in another life but in another life things wouldn't unfold as they have, I don't personally believe in Divine Destiny, or even Determinism, I think stoicism is a pretty good place to start though.

Stoicism is a philosophy that teaches you to focus on what you can control, accept what you can't, and stay calm and virtuous no matter what life throws at you.

And I think it's good to know and focus on the things you can control and stop worrying about what will happen and won't. It's something the MC should learn. They focus too much on the what-ifs and don't take enough risks. I think it's more so as people a lot of us tend to put too much focus on things we can't control instead of what we can regardless though I'm glad you liked the last chapter <3

In Eyes I Almost Knew (In the Presence of Truth spin-off?)

(I just want to preface this is like a super old Idea of what I thought would happen of course, I love the amnesia trope but then I scrapped it but if I had stuck with it I wrote a small blurb for it just because I wanted to explore the idea before committing to the bit....I had the time so I polished it from the original. In this version I wanted for MC to walk alone with no friends which is why their friends don't appear but again scrapped it. I would prefer they don't walk the path alone)

It was odd, you thought, how the Faerie Kingdom felt at once completely familiar and utterly foreign. The silver pathways glistened beneath your feet, winding endlessly beneath canopies of strange, luminous flowers whose petals opened gently, glowing like captured moonlight. It was beautiful and utterly frustrating.

I also know that I really was not into smc before this, I just really liked his sage of truth fit, something about it spoke to me and now I've ran with it, with the little knowledge provided from crk.

cried while writing this...

grapes used to be so good when I was a kid but they're unpredictable and finnicky things. They can be soft as opposed to crunchy, sour instead of sweet. It's too much of a gamble for me...I don't hate grapes, but I no longer dote on them as I used to.

He fell quiet, the world narrowing to the rustle of turning pages and the faint scratch of his notes against parchment. There was something mesmerizing in the way he worked. In how focused he became, how his brow furrowed just slightly when he found a section that demanded more scrutiny, how his fingers moved with delicate precision as he turned each page like it held a fragment of some divine truth.

I just want to say this makes me proud because it means I did my job and to think I thought chapter 20 was a little bland, I think I was too harsh a couple days ago seeing all the support for 20 makes me very proud

I am so glad to be someone inspiring other people to write this makes me very happy to be inspiring others to pick up the joy that is writing. Writing is one of my favorite hobbies I also think it's so fun to place my scenarios on a page, I do try to take breaks but sometimes that can be difficult being a STEM major...

But I guess MC did it in the name of "love" whatever that means. But I like to be a little comedic to loosen moments too much tension and I don't even think I could proof read it LOL

I think what's great about them is that the sage of truth has sort of just accepted his fate about loving them in his own way.

And MC just loves to say nonsense because it's fun, and he finds it endearing whereas their friends only entertain them for so long SMC would entertain their silly questions for eternity.
