Imagine the terror Katrielle went through when she received the call from Scotland Yard informing her that Alfendi had been shot and was in critical condition.
Don’t imagine her running at full speed forgetting she owned a bike to the hospital only to be told he’s fallen into a coma and wouldn’t know if he would survive.
Don’t imagine her and Flora visiting him every day with his favorite things or sitting with him listening to the artificial support he was on hoping he would wake up.
Don’t forget that Katrielle and Flora were most likely in the room at the same time as Justin who was going to frame Alfendi for murder.
Just imagine how scared Katrielle was that she was going to lose her only brother and she couldn’t do anything to help him as she watched him sleep for an entire year. Staying with him for days on end and holding his hand. Reading the news to him and leaving small gifts and sweets in case he woke up while she went home. Taking care of him better than any hospital staff could hope for.
For an entire year Katrielle Layton was scared she would lose her only brother who promised to always protect her. No matter what.
