Worked on a background for Celestial Bodies yesterday, this one for the cozy student lounge in the Citadel, a slice of frutiger aero heaven 🩵💚

You may even recognize a few of the furniture pieces in here or think they look familiar… and that’s because I used Animal Crossing to help with the original concept! The game’s “room sketch” mechanic has been so helpful in being able to visualize the environments I’ll be putting my characters in, and it makes a great reference if you struggle with drawing backgrounds, filling spaces, or drawing furniture! I really can’t recommend trying it out enough, either on Animal Crossing, Sims, or a similar 3D environment creation game. Below are some screenshots I took when I first created the “Student Lounge” space!

Love that from Dylan’s perspective Milchick booking it out of the room after giving him the letter was out of a desire to not deal with the emotions it would bring forth instead of the actual fact that he was running late for his new comedy hour with the animatronic wax figure of their god

The choreography and merriment department is really clocking in, running marching band drills all day, clocking out and then their outies collect a paycheck I want to see Lumon's payroll
