THIS is why I maintain that Camille is the real love of Klaus' life and why she was his true "redemption" if you can even call it that.

It sure as fuck wasn't Caroline, and it actually wasn't Hope. It was Camille O'Connell.

I didn't necessarily buy Klaus as a loverboy in TVD, but in The Originals, in Tangled up in Blue, the third episode, I KNEW he was falling in love with Camille and that it would be something more his level.
