Opening commissions! I need a little help paying for my hotel room to escape the fires in LA 😥 I’m going up north and just barely missed a fire that would’ve blocked us in where we couldn’t escape LA, and currently means we can’t get back into the city. We’re staying in NorCal to wait it out and hope the palisades fire doesn’t burn our apartment down
Edit: one of the fires blocking my apartment has been more contained away from the freeway. thank god. my nightmare of not being able to return to my life and my friends is over for now 😥please hope that there isn’t another fire that does the same thing. We can’t return until the palisades is at least almost out and the smoke and ash stop falling on our neighborhood. so we’re still heading north for however long that takes. For the sake of so many lives, I hope it ends tomorrow.

My baby Wally is finally relaxed after days of travel. We plan to stay in this hotel for a bit, so I’m glad he is calming down… the evac warnings have hit my neighborhood. I’m trying not to cry constantly.

Here is my other baby Harry. He’s waiting for me to spoon him. He looks mad, but that’s his happy face. He doesn’t know why he’s being dragged around, and I feel so badly that he does not understand what’s happening. He’s getting used to the new hotel, and I’m glad we can settle for a few days so the boys can rest.
