😈 Why do you like AtLA? AtLA was my favourite show as a kid! I remember trying to hop quickly in and out of the shower or running to get my dinner so I could make it back before the break ended and I could finish watching an episode. The magic and characters of the show easily made it one of my favourite things in the world, although I was never able to watch the whole thing in order on TV. When I got older and decided to go back and rewaatch the whole thing in order as a teenager, it was made all the more special. I was in a better position to understand the themes of love, compassion and friendship and it meant everything. I would watch the whole thing over again every year! It was a totally awesome and honestly, relaxing and healing experience.
😈 What character and card resonate with you? Why? Iroh would have to be the character that resonates with me most. He’s mostly a comedic relief character for the first while, before you get to really understand him. Zuko is easily one of my favourite characters too, and much like him I only really began to understand and appreciate Iroh once I got older and had more experience. To be kind and be a guiding light in others lives, especially in the face of hardship and loss, is so important.
As for a card, it would have to be the Wheel of Fortune. To me it really does represent life, and the cycles it goes through. Sometimes bad things happen for no good reason. Sometimes good things happen at random. The important thing is letting go of control, and not blaming yourself for everything that happens!
😈 Question for Spirits of the Lake (Major Arcana artists): What cause are you most passionate about? Or, what/who do you most want to protect? Or, why/how do you help others? I like to make others laugh! I feel most passionate about causes that give those in hard situations a bit of relief or fun. Donate to homeless shelters, or find a local charity that helps sick kids get the latest games console! It’s incredible how much difference fun can make, even in the hardest times of your life.
