I finally saw the musical and now I can figure out how to get my Beetlejuice brain rot out on the internet…

…now I just need to figure out how to consistently draw the guy

finished the (musical version) Betelgeuse sign!

42 inches in length (a little over 1 meter). decided to save myself the time, money, and headache and just make it the 'reverse' way instead of like, meticulously making a (faux, but still) neon sign by hand lol. maybe one day, but today is not that day.

the glowy parts are covered with lamé fabric which looks solid when unlit from behind, and becomes transparent when lit! it's my fav material to use around LEDs in cosplay stuff since it looks good in both daytime and nighttime lighting.

the sign connects to a power source via AC/DC adapter, and i have both a 12V portable battery pack (holds 8 AA batteries) and a cable that connects to an electrical outlet, so. the sign can be BOTH brought with me to conventions and displayed on a wall at home! :D

So after fixing that, behold! Drew a slightly older Lydia because I could NOT draw a young teen face to save myself lmao. Gave her a tattoo of Sandy bc why the hell not.

a photographer friend wanted to take some pics of me as my lil beetlejuice-musical-obsessed gremlin guy (bjtm...sona?? of sorts?) and they came out so cool!! they make great portraits, i think they really capture just how possessed i am about this musical. i am simply living my best (after)life... 🖤🤍🖤🤍
