I'm not the biggest fan of Magical Girl content, but if it's a cartoon........ 😈
I love cartoons with cute art style, it makes me feel comfortable🫶
And the concept of the story seems interesting to me.
I based this on a comic I saw on tumblr and obviously on the characters and setting of the "Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl" pilot animatic by Kiana Khansmith.
(For some reason YouTube links don’t get traction on tumblr, so let’s see if this works!)
Animated in Procreate Dreams.

This comic is fucking hilarious actually
was measuring out some sugar and i scooped out one spoonful and fucking said "two." i didn't know you could even lose count that fast
I’m watching Splash (1984) which is a romcom about a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and when she chooses a human name she chooses Madison and guy says “that’s not a real name, but alright” which seems to imply that Madison was not a name until at least the 80’s and all girls named Madison are actually named after the mermaid. thought you should know
I think...you might be right
what the fuck
Yeah she named herself off of a street in NYC. It was literally because of Splash that it became a girl's name. Same with MacKenzie, that's a Scottish last name that became a girl's name over the past few decades. Or there are people who named their daughters Khaleesi after Game of Thrones. 🤷♀️
i spot a plus size honey across the bar and start to chat her up until her bisexual boyfriend with a magic the gathering tattoo comes over and starts yelling at me so i turn him sideways so he can't make another action until his next turn
never thought Disney would be bold enough to address the strain on Nick and Judy's relationship after the abortion
its crazy to me when people say they cant understand cat body language cause maybe its the ambigous neurodivergence in me but i find them easier to understand than people. they literally come with a rumble feature to let you know theyre happy. i wish i had that.
I so desperately want to be able to convince Trump supporters with facts and logic and empathy, but it’s so important to remember that their ignorance is INTENTIONAL. my mom didn’t let us watch Sleeping Beauty growing up. I asked her why recently and she said, “it was evil.” when I pointed out other movies had similar themes and depictions of evil, and asked what the difference was, she couldn’t. I pressed one more time and she just said, “it felt evil to me. I didn’t like it”. same thing with dune 2: she said it was “dark”, and I was, “literally, like the movie’s lighting? Or the themes?” and she said “I don’t know” and didn’t want to talk about it more. many conservatives genuinely cannot tell the difference between “I don’t like it” and “this is evil” and they do not care to learn despite many chances
This is true and it will forever frustrate me.
It was a bizarre experience to grow up in a "non-denominational" Christian household and being told that people who don't think like us are "too emotional" and "don't think logically" only to realize that logic and rationality play absolutely no part in the formation of the average conservative's beliefs about anything.
It's all aesthetics. "Evil" has nothing to do with harm, it's about something looking evil, feeling evil. Anything that makes you uncomfortable is morally wrong.
My dad once tried to tell me it was WRONG for women to dye their hair unnatural colors. Not that he didn't like it or that he thought it looked bad, that it was WRONG. And he COULD NOT substantiate the claim when I pressed him on it. All he could do was repeat "it's just wrong" and refused to back down. That's their approach to almost everything they believe.
what the hell sure
