golden kamuy tsukishima is truly the Character of all time. he's depressed. he's bisexual. he beat his father to death. he is a goon and a mob wife at the same time. he is babysitting the guy he once kidnapped and it's healing him as a person. he canonically has one of the best asses. his entire arc is stooped in tragedy, loyalty, and sacrifice. he likes plain white rice and dislikes nothing. he is an expert brawler. he is 3 sauces tall. truly a Character in a Story.
So I did a Mouthwashing themed Birthday Party
First things first! I spent way too much money and time making Curly from scratch bc I wanted to... He took me around 3 weeks of evening and weekend sewing, glueing and painting to make.
You can move his eye around to look at things and also open his mouth to feed him his pills (they're just mints!)
I made him bc I got the idea of making his leg the cake and I just couldn't let go of that idea... So I executed it! The cake is red velvet and I made it in the span of 3 days bc of baking, carving, crumb coating etc...
If anyone'd be interested in how I made Curly (in case you want to make your own idk) let me know and maybe I could make a separate post about that!
Side note: I had to hide him in the utility closet for like a week bc maintenance needed to come check our ventilation.... of course
I also made my own custom Mouthwash bottles! I made the Dragonbreath designs and printed them on sticker paper to put on bottles I had cleaned out and peeled the original labels off of. I made my own recipe for a Mouthwash-inspired welcome drink as well. It took a couple iterations to get it right but I swear it's good! I'll share the recipe at the end of this post so it's easy to find in case you wanna try it...
Lastly, I made matching crew t-shirts for me and my wife. Oh and ofc we had a themed playlist, my wife helped out a lot with that.
I am SO happy I managed to execute all of these ideas I had and the party was so much fun!!! I'll probably never do such an ambitious birthday party ever again though dkhgkjkd
Ok so here is the Mouthwash drink recipe:
3cl White rum
2cl Blue Curacao
1cl Minttu
2cl Lime juice
Shake or stir
Top up with 7-up and/or tonic, depending on how sweet you want it. Done! Enjoy!
