Before dating my partner, I think a lot about the time and when I feared opening my heart up again but shared how thankful I was for his patience and wanting to show up for me. After I mentioned it, he says to me:
“Your happiness and comfort is mine too. I’m happy to earn all your confidence in me. Just know the understanding and patience is here whenever you need it.”
In that moment my heart melted and just knew that I’d feel at home with him. I have so much to love and thank him for all the time. I hope my future is with him.
