Nasser Akar Mohammed (@nasserakar7) is not just another statistic. He is my brother, and my very best friend. Nasser has shared moments with me that no other person could. We have been together through the highest highs and lowest lows of this war, despite our distance. Nasser has given me things that I could never ask of another, and is utterly irreplaceable in my heart-- And I need your help to save his life.

What would you do to ensure the survival of a loved one? What sacrifices would you make? What would you want, if you were in their shoes? How could you even begin help? How much are you willing to give to them?

What are you willing to risk?

Just like Nasser, his family, and every Palestinian right now, I am also desperate-- But my life isn't the one on the line. His is. I need your help to help him. Sick and injured, I am terrified for my brother's life. With war merchants scalping the price of fresh food, and more bombs every day, it is getting harder to survive in the camps. Nasser and his family barely have enough to afford food, and they'll need even more to afford cost of treatment for his illness and injury. I sincerely hope you'll donate to his CH fund or his PP and help my brother survive πŸ’πŸ©΅

What Strength Really Means πŸ’ͺ

Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏑. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I lovedβ€”some of them are gone forever. πŸ’”

every single article, post or mention of a Muslim or Latino person on a Visa or Green Card getting dragged off the street by masked men in broad daylight has the same exact comments: "wow, they're gonna start doing this to citizens soon." some of these people have lived here since they were 8 months old and have lived here for over 30 years. it's very telling that Americans are still are managing to separate them in their head from a "citizen" and that their outrage will be far greater when it's someone who "actually lives here" as if 3 decades in the same country shouldn't qualify you for the same rights as everyone else.
